The ending to Shanghai Kiss was really bothering me. So I decided to write a short, relatively description free ending to appease my annoyance for the lack of complete closure of the film:
Disclaimer: Shanghai Kiss was written by David Ren, not me. But if I wrote the movie I wouldn't have made people think about the whole crying thing. I hate movies that make me think! (j/k)
That night, just like every night the tears came.
"What's the matter, bunny?" Addy put on a fake pout and turned to him.
When he didn't answer, realization struck her and she gently wiped a tear away.
"You're talking to your mother, huh?" She asked, remembering he told her he talked to her every night before going to sleep.
He didn't answer.
"Tell her I said 'hi'" she said softly, turning her back to him.
He pulled her close, tears still wet on his face. She smiled and they listened to the sounds of the busy L.A streets together.
A/N. Yes, I know I haven't written any drabble things in forever. But my muse has disappeared on me. Feel free to leave a note of "Hey".
