Jealous deaths.

Currently, in the Crocodile household, sits the owner of the home and the daughter he didn't ask for…

Crocodile was a bit done with how his daughter was acting at the moment, he stood leaning against the wall next to the door preventing him from seeing his daughter. He was very willing, at the moment, to just destroy the door, drag her out and force himself to listen to his daughter and her 'problems', one of which is currently locked up in her room for reasons she will not explain. Crocodile hit the door once more.

"Cassie, will you just come out of your room? It's been almost the whole day and you haven't told me or anyone what is wrong with you." He wasn't the most talkative parents, so when she was upset he usually just waited until she came to him with her problems.

"No!" She exclaimed back. Sighing, he pulled a lighter for his cigar.

"...What about just talking to me then?" He closed his eyes trying desperately not to yell at the disobedient female. She didn't respond but her door slightly opened after he spoke, Crocodile backed away a bit and let her look up to him.

"I guess because you're a man, you could help me out with this…" He nods throwing out the lit cigar.

"Good, now I don't have all day so hurry it up." She came out all the way, creating vines using her devil fruit, The Trusi-Trusi no Mi (or the Tree-Tree Fruit) under her body, she sat up top the vines crossed legged. She fiddled with her hand sighing a bit she spoke playing with her enlonded nails.

"Well... it's about Law-" She didn't even get the rest out when Crocodile made an audible sound, she went on ignoring it. "He hasn't come over in a while and he hasn't called me, so I'm both worried and lonely plus it's bothering me to the point of depression!" She looks up. "And I never get that way!" He nodded agreeing with his daughter.

"Why don't you just call him?" She shakes her head.

"I did… He didn't pick up."

"How about visiting him? That doesn't seem like too much trouble for the brat." She stands up rising above her father and looking down.

"Really! You'd let me go to his house?" He nods while closing his eyes regretting the decision and its domino effect.

"Yes I would… But don't think that this is an invitation to go over there whenever you want, I can just as easily keep you here as I can letting you go." She giggles and attempts to hug her father who dissipates under her grasp. She groans when landing on her vines. "Let's just go." She pouts and follows behind him out of their house.

Cassie stood at Law's door afraid that if she knocked that maybe he'd yell at her or something else that's overplayed, she turned back to her father and shook her head nervously.

"M-maybe this was a bad idea after all… C'mon let's just go home." Crocodile formed a sand chasm near where she stood. She groaned then turned and took a breath before she knocked hard on the door. Not getting an answer the first time, she knocked again but spoke this time. "Law… A-are you there?" Still no response, fed up with her shyness, Crocodile blasted the locked door open sending it into the near empty house of Law's, Cassie pecked inside seeing that the lights weren't on and the light switch was broken. Cassie looked down at her shoes, feeling that she stepped in something, she bent over and saw what it was. "Blood…" She walked inside and opened the window finally able to see inside the room. There she saw Law on the floor passed out and bloody. She gasped and walked over using her ability to lift him into her arms.

"Wonder what happened to him…" Crocodile asked uninterested in the male's health and more interested on who was here and possibly still is.

"Law-kun…" Cassie rested her head on his chest and didn't even hear his heart beating, she moved his shirt up his waist and looked to see a square hole where his heart once was. "Where's his heart…?" She looked around somewhat frantic but she tried to keep calm and tried listening for the beating muscle. Law, feeling the disturbance of his body, manged himself to wake up. His eyes slightly opened and found themselves staring at Cassie, he coughed and moved a bit. She looked down feeling his body move and smiled. She touched his cheek, "You're okay!" He didn't have the strength to move so he just remained in her arms. He needed to get his heart back before anything, he turned his head as best as possible and Cassie followed his line of sight. She saw the heart underneath the bed sheet finally and went quickly over to grab it. She put it back into his chest and he coughed before spitting out some blood. He quickly regained himself and moved to sit up, Cassie back away a bit making sure he wasn't unsteady in any manner.

"L-law-kun…?" Said male looked at her, she smiled and gave him a tight hug. "What happened? I was so worried." Law looked to the male behind her still standing at the door.

"That bastard's former co-conspirator, Doflamingo, came here. I knew that he'd try something so I did what I had to so he couldn't kill me." She looked at her father thinking that maybe he had put the blonde up to this, but she removed the thought and went back to Law.

"Have any clue as to why?" Law shrugged.

"Didn't say… But I bet Crocodile knows something at least." They both look to aforementioned male, he was on his way out of the door without another word. Law clicked his tongue knowing his assumption was correct, Cassie grunted upset that this had happened, but she was glad Law was alright. She leaned over to get into his eye sight. Law looked at her in question. "Why did you come here anyways?" Her smile faded.

"Because, I thought that you didn't want to be around me anymore, since you hadn't come over in a while... Looks like you were just on the verge of death instead." He sighs then gives her a small smile before leaning up to kiss her distant cheek. She felt heat rise to her face as she looked at him.
"Look, I don't ignore people I've made relations with. Don't you ever think that again." She smiles. "Besides, I'm glad you get jealous easily otherwise I would be dead." She grunts.

"What makes you think I get jealous easily?" Her cheeks rose in color brighter this time. Law smirked to her before leaning to touch her cheek feeling her hair rest on the back of his palm.

"Because, it's only been one day since I last spoke to you." Cassie wanted to assume that maybe she just hadn't heard right, it sure didn't feel like one day. She looked elsewhere and let go of his arm leaving him holding onto a vine. Law dropped it and chuckled a bit at her embarrassed reaction.

"Maybe I should have left you for dead!" He remained on the floor knowing she couldn't live up to what she had said after they back to normal.

Real emotions?

Cassie ran home as fast as she could go not wanting to wait any longer to tell everyone the good news!

"Huh… a job?" Crocodile lowered the newspaper he held and looked to his more than excited daughter. Cassie nodded and bounced on her tiptoes while she stood.

"Yeah and I've been working there for a while, it's so much fun!" Law walked into the room hearing his excitable girlfriend.

"What is?" She ran over to him.

"You of all people should know what I'm talking about, my job!" He nods.

"You told me about that before… Maybe you should explain to Crocodile-ya here what you do." Crocodile waited her to speak.

"I'm a waitress at a Cafe, you know that I'm always talking about whenever we pass by it?" He nods knowing more than well how much she wanted to go there. "Well when I went by there today they asked me if I wanted to work and I said yes!"

"Sounds demeaning. I told you that you should aim for real work." She turned to her father.

"Oh what like Baroque Works?" Crocodile growled a bit. Cassie stood her ground. "This is real work… I mean some people make a living off of this!" He wasn't amused. "Besides, this is just a part-time job, if it makes you feel any better." He goes back to reading hearing this. Cassie shook her head and turned back to Law giddy. "You'll come and stop by won't you?"

"Not like there's anything else to do, plus maybe this time I'll have you serve me instead of the other way around for a change." She sighed loudly.

"Are either of you two just genuinely happy for me getting this job?

"No." They answered in unison. She walked off rolling her eyes to the men.

"Why do I even…"

Cassie left about an hour earlier explaining that the employees all had devil fruits and got customs/ outfits to wear, so she had to go to be there early since it took some time to get into it. Law and Crocodile couldn't disappoint Cassie. So of course they waited around until it was her working hours, as she stared several time before finally leaving, before they decided to go. When they arrived they weren't expecting any of what they saw, Crocodile especially. The father watched as his daughter waltzed around in a skimpy dress, made up entirely vines of course. The outfit (if you can call it that) didn't do much to hide her skin, it exposed more than it covered only binding tightly on her chest area and lower front and back barely. It winded down her leg like tights, while the dress part coiled outward like a vintage dress. Cassie noticed the pair and walked over to them holding a metal tray.

"Hey Daddy! You guys came, I'm so happy!" She spun around showing them her whole outfit. "So, what do you think?" Crocodile just stared at her, the cigar in his mouth popped out falling to the floor. Law noticed this and moved over to Cassie's body and pulled her to his waist, she yelped at his sudden grasp.

"Well I think it looks amazing!" She smiled at him and giggled.

"Well thank you! It means so much hearing that from you." He smirked Crocodile wanted to kill him just to prevent his hands on her but he yielded and just moved to step between them.

"What is this?" His finger pointed to her body. She looked down.

"My outfit? Something wrong with it?"

"This is the only outfit here who looks like you just walked through the forest and got stuck." His voice held a kind of emotion Cassie had never experienced with him, or anyone for that manner, before. Cassie liked it! Her father was actually showing emotion toward her, she didn't care what kind of emotion it was she was just happy to know that maybe he really did care for her. She was so happy she leaned up to hug her somewhat angered father.

"I'm so happy, daddy!" He looks down to her. "You really do care for me!" He didn't respond.

"Will you just put something on?" She giggles and nods.

"Good thing you don't want my opinion…" Spoke Law, Crocodile glared back at him, Law didn't flinch one bit at his death glare but instead just sighed his expression not showing how upset he actually was that she had covered up her body.

There's probably something I'm still going to want to change even after this... again. But anyways, I hope you enjoyed reading!
