Meet me at St. Bart's Hospital, right now.

-Lestrade

John Watson groaned and put on his coat and Sherlock's scarf. "I'll be gone for a while ," he said to his landlady as he pasted he in one of the hallways.

A frigid gust of wind hit John as he walked into the darkness of outside. He caught a taxi and got in. He avoided eye contact with the driver, but mumbled and said 'Saint Bart's Hospital, please…'

The drive felt like hours after hours, and John dreaded at the thought of going to the horrid hospital again. Having to relive the memories of what happened 3 years earlier…the jump…the phone call…all thanks to James Moriarty. The driver drove in front of the building, only John didn't see any cars. He was confused but paid the driver and stepped out of the car. The taxi pulled away, leaving the acrid smell of the exhaust hover in the air a bit. John looked around and checked the door to see if it was unlocked.

Knowing Greg, he didn't play jokes like this often. John checked behind the gates in front of the door and around the one side of the building. Confused, he started walking towards the street, when someone threw a rock.

It didn't hit the army doctor, but it did sort of skip. As if someone threw a flat rock on top of water tops, and 'bounced'. John turned around, pulling the some-what tattered scarf above his lips, and took a couple of steps forward. Noticing nothing different, no signs of any movement other than the occasional couple walking down the other side of the street, he turned around looking at his feet, disappointed that Lestrade would be so immature to play a trick on him.

THUD!

"I-I'm sorry! Excuse me!" The doctor said quickly. He looked up to see who he bumped into, and wish he hadn't.

"SHERLOCK?"

"Hello, John," Sherlock said with a guilty grin on his face."I um….."

"No…Sherlock, just no."

"But I- John please let me expla-"

John swung at Sherlock, hitting him square on the cheek. "I-I know you deserved that, though." John said as Sherlock almost fell. When he regained his balance, John took a hold of him by the collor of Sherlock's trench coat and pulled his lips close to Sherlock's ear

"Don't abandon me again, you prick"

John then kissed Sherlock, making both of their hearts beat fast. John pulled away, surprised by his own actions, but still hugged Sherlock and listened to his heart beat.
