"From this day onwards, dearest brother, I shall always be by your side: in moments of happiness, of sadness, of ill health, of danger, and of so many more. I shall hold nothing from you, Hideyoshi - there will be no secrets I hide from you.
"I can not promise that I shall stop bullying you, because I have tried so hard to stop it; but it is a nature to me, something that I can't help but do. But I can and will promise you that I shall forever love and care for you, Hideyoshi, even if it seems I may be nothing more than a bully at times.
"I also promise this to you, that I shall be your guardian against any and all threats that may come against you. I shall be at your bid and call for your protection, and I shall do nothing to harm you.
"Someday, we will grow older and go through what the adults call 'puberty', the time where siblings of the opposite sex can grow dangerously far apart from each other. But I shall deny that. I shall always be close at your side.
"And even after puberty, we shall be growing into adults ourselves. We won't live together anymore, but even then, I shall always be by your side. As a neighbor, a co-worker, or something else, Hideyoshi...
