"I broke it," a young third grader wailed as she held her leg.

Benjy floated her over to the Hospital wing. "The madam will fix you right up," he declared.

Julie Grey was a wonderful young girl, but she was a bit absentminded, and it caused her to get hurt regularly. She even had her own bed at the hospital wing, something Madam Pomfrey had once done for Harry Potter.

On this fine afternoon, she had fallen off of the bleachers. She had been lucky to not be more injured, especially since she could have easily hit her head.

Now though, he might be late for his anniversary celebration with his lovely wife who was probably busily cooking dinner on their stove right this minute. Hopefully, she would accept his alibi. After all, she was the Gryffindor Head of House, and it was one of her precious lions that he was taking care of. How could she fault him for that?

It was almost two hours later that Julie allowed him to leave. She was a scared thing when it came to being treated medically and hadn't wanted Benjy to go anywhere.

Benjy hurried to his room and preyed she was in a forgiving mood. When he stepped inside, his mouth filled with saliva at the heavenly smell.

"Hey, my beautiful love."

"Benjy," Hermione acknowledged.

"I know I'm late, and I'm so sorry."

"Relax," Hermione cooed as she turned around, popping a strawberry into her mouth with a devious glint in her eyes. "Madam Cragg Flooed me so I didn't give you a hard time."

Benjy relaxed when he heard that, but it helped that he saw she was wearing the Celtic necklace he gave her seven years ago. She never wore it when she was angry with him. He was safe. "You still cooking?"

"Almost done," she promised. "I'm making Cordon Bleu."

Benjy grinned. That was his all time favorite dish. "Merlin was showing off when he created you," he gibed.

"Oh, you flatterer. Just so you know, you're not getting any of this meal if I don't get my kiss."

"That won't be a hardship at all," he stated, going to her and wrapping his arms around her waist. He pulled her body flush against his and pressed a loud smacking kiss to her lips. She tasted like a mixture of strawberries and cheese. A weird combination, but on Hermione's lips, it was delicious.
