{Tune of the Beautiful Maiden}

Just Shtuff: Orai... this i the first fic I've ever posted. It has one of my original characters as the co-star. Her name is Merodi, which is Melody in japanese. This also one the first fics I ever started. I just now finished it so I posted it. (Isn't writers block a bizutchi?) It is also the first Zelda fic I've posted. I hope you enjoy!
Note: In this fic, Sheik and Zelda are seperate beings.

Part One: The attack and the flutist
Link walked through the forest alone. It was a cloudy day outside and looked like it might rain. Even through his conquest through Hyrule, Link could not seem to find his way out of the forest. He wandered aimlessly through the brush. 'How long have I been in here?' He thought.
Link heard rustling in the bushes. He immediately drew the master sword and armed himself. The sound disappeared, nothing. He put his sword away and continued to walk away. Just then someone pounced on him, or something at least.
Link fell to the ground with a 'Oomph!' and loud thud noise. Link looked at the thing that attacked him. It seemed to be a medium sized dragon. It pinned him down and snarled at him. Link tried to reach for his sword, but was greeting to an intense pain on his left shoulder. He couldn't help but cry out in agony. He tried once again to reach for his sword but found he couldn't move his limbs. With effort, he looked down to his shoulder and saw the purple venom that dripped from it. He tried to move away, but only managed to roll onto onto his stomach. The edges of his vision were blurred as he tried to crawl away, but to no avail.
Then Link heard a familiar tune, he lifted his head a little to try and see where the music was coming from. A girl with shoulder length blue hair played a pink flute shape like a rose at the end. She was playing Zelda's Lullaby. The monster was beginning to get drowsy and eventually fell asleep.
It began to rain.
"Sheik! Come quick!"
That's all Link heard before blacking out.
End Part One
Okay so that was a short chapter but writer's block's killin me and that's all I could think of. Will Link survive? Find out!
