I Meet a Half Blood
Chapter 1: We Start a New Adventure
"Boom"! What a way to start out my day. I was walking down the street minding my own business. Well, a car comes by with heavy metal blaring, and then guns it at the last second! Then I realized I could not hear out of one of my ears. This morning was not going well. No coffee maker (it stopped working), no cash for a cab (completely out), computer crashed (it's not saved), and learning that Fan Fiction is down (I write stories). What could get worse, a lot?
Math, my failure subject, has me sitting in the back of the room. Not that I hate it because of that of course. I get to work on stories, read, and do non-math related things. Today was a little unusual, everyone was more attentive and the teacher kept looking at the clock anxiously. Then, startling me to jump 51 feet, was the bell for lunch. That's what I get for day dreaming for too long. Before I went to the café, I went to my locker and got a piece of my professional graphing paper. Did I tell you that I design buildings? Well, now you know, anyway. I sat down by my friend Gabby with my lunch, and started to draw. "What are you doing?" Gabby asked. I replied "Designing a new building" "So, what is it going to be?" She interrogated. "I think it's going to be a school." I said. "Oh." She said. I just took a bite of my sandwich and kept drawing. Near the end of the lunch period, the intercom came on. "Beep, beep." What I heard next would make my veins boil and my heart beat incredibly hard.
"Would Nathan French please report to the office, Nathan French to the office, thank you." I'll admit it, I freaked out. I was panicking and I was scared. I got a "good luck" from Gabby. I walked to the office quickly; I didn't want anyone to see my pain. I got into trouble last year, so when I saw my parents with the principal. I nearly screamed. Then I saw the white hummer limo. My parents nodded me to go on. When I got within 3 feet, the window rolled down. Four heads were visible, no wait 6, no 7! They had a dog too! When I got in, I immediately knew whom they were and as I did, the dog or should I say hellhound grew bigger and the teens weapons grew more distinctly into swords.
Chapter 2: We Meet and Greet
They were Percy Jackson, Anabeth Chase, Nico DiAngello, Thaila Grace, Jason Grace, Leo Valdez, and Rick Riordan. The hellhound was Ms. O'Leary. There was one spot open. Naturally I sat down, but as I sat down I felt myself get poked by a needle. Everything started to dim. I tried to cry out "What?" but failed, and then darkness.
I woke in some sort of outdoor hospital, yet I knew exactly who I was, who took me, and everything before the limo ride. Anabeth asked next to me, " You okay? You remember who you are and all?" " Yup, everything before the ride, yes" I replied. "So how's the happy camper?" Asked Percy as he entered the room. " Great" Anabeth and I replied at the same time. "So are you ready to go meet the other campers?" "Yes, sir!" I replied sarcastically.
