You Will Never Be The Same

The frozen still, silence of love,

can never be broken.

True love, as they say, lasts forever.

But if you don't believe in ever discovering love,

you guard your heart-capture it in imprisonment.

Rusted chains surround your heart,

hopeless tears flow streamingly from your eyes.

Loneliness hunts you like helpless prey.

Memories haunt you and fill your mind with sorrow.

You become an empty person, and loathe living lonely.

Now it's too late for you and you have reached it,

your point of breaking.

Suicide creeps through your mind,

knowing you don't have a future.

One painful night full of tears and pleas,

is all it takes.

As you look around, a color of scarlet,

has drowned your weeping body.

And a feeling of hollowness is gone.

No longer at war with love,

but at peace with yourself.

Now it is over and you will never be the same.
