Matthew set down beside Soulina in Death Bucks Café sipping his coffee. The crimson eyed girl looked at him a pang of sadness in her eyes. "Soulina is something wrong..?" He asked. She fiddled with a pocky stick, "Matt, I'm resigning from the DWMA." She whispered not meeting his eyes. "The boy remained silent looking at his partner. "I'm going to become a pianist…. I'm sorry" She whispered a tear streaking down her cheek. "I understand…" The boy smiled and squeezed her hand.

"I don't want to lose you though. Come with me, please?" She said in between tears. Soulina hugged the boy tight sobbing into his chest not caring about how uncool she sounded. The sandy-haired boy wrapped his arms around her, kissing the top of her head. "Of course I will, besides cool partners stick together. Right?" Soulina grinned and wiped away the tears. "Right!"
