Ok so I've only ever seen the movie, but I was really intrigued by the character of Sophie. If you don't remember, Sophie was played by Kristen Stewart and is presumably the daughter of Mary. She showed up at the end of the movie for 5 minutes. This is written in Sophie's point of view when David visits the house. As of now this is a one shot, but I can continue to make this into a story if anyone wants me to. I'll need ideas though, so if you have any that would be helpful.

The doorbell rang just as I sat at the kitchen table to work on some homework. Odd, I thought. We get very few visitors and they usually come later at night or earlier in the morning. I pushed myself up from my chair and walked to the door.
The man standing there looked to be about in his mid-twenties. Odd again. The men that visit are usually much older. I felt the back of my head tingle in recognition. He looked very familiar, but I frustratingly couldn't remember where I had seen him before. I looked him up and down and felt my face twist in amusement. Maybe he has the wrong house, I thought. He looked surprised to see me too.
"Can I help you?" I asked politely, eyebrows still raised.
The man's features shifted to uncertainty as he asked, "Is Mary home?"
I was at a loss. No one called my mother by her first name. I angled my head to call for my mom, never taking my eyes off of the strange man.
What does he want with my mom, I thought. The only people who come to see her are Paladins, co-workers of my mom, and he is definitely not a Paladin. And he can't be a Jumper. The only Jumper my mom wouldn't kill on the spot is…
A light bulb flashed in my head as I realized who he was, and I was glaring by the time my mom made it to the door, and I continued to fume as I sat in my room waiting for him to leave.
I know exactly who David is. Of course, when he first showed up at our house, I didn't know his name or what he wanted with my mother, but I knew. He was a Jumper, and he was the secret my mother had kept for years.
I was eight when I learned my mother was a Paladin. It was late, probably past midnight, when I woke from a nightmare. I got up to seek the comfort of my mother's warm embrace. She wasn't in bed, though, and I was scared. My dad was away on a business trip, and as far as I knew I was the only one home. Before I could freak out I noticed the streak of light coming through the closed door of the office down the hall.
She never knew I'd seen the video that night, the one of David jumping back and forth to and from the bank vault, the one she destroyed after watching. I managed to piece together that it was my mom's job to track and kill people like David, and that for some reason she was hiding this boy instead of hunting him. It wasn't until I was fifteen, when I overheard the argument my parents had before my dad left and never came back, that I realized he was her son.
I had to figure everything out on my own. My mom never told me about her work and I never asked. I didn't really want to know the specifics. The only information I ever got out of her was the name Jumpers and Paladins.
My mom was gone a lot, her job taking her around the globe. I would have the house to myself for days on end. I liked being on my own and I have learned to take care of myself. But life was always better, easier, when my mother was around.
I had only ever seen pictures of David when he was still a kid, so when I opened the door to see him standing there I wasn't sure it was him.
I hated David the second I was sure it was him.
I hated him for causing my father to leave. I hated him for putting both my mother's life and mine in danger. I hated him for having the nerve to show up at our house.
But mostly, I hated him for existing at all.
