Goodbye my dear friend,

I'm sorry it had to end,

We'll never forget.

Your dad is waiting,

I cannot rest from travel,

Take your father's hand.

I'm sorry for this,

You know I couldn't let you go,

We've lost so many,

And will lose more, for it's fate,

Our gruesome, shared fate.

I've finally got to Virmire (oops, I said Ilos earlier, guess there's too much on my mind for me to be writing) and it came time when I had to chose between Kaidan and Ashley; in the past I had no problems with killing Ashley off but this time it took me a few moments to think of all the reasons I hate her. In the past I never really talked to her because most of the things she said pissed me off, but this time I got to the part where she's talk to her sister and she starts discussing her family. Once she started reciting poetry I appreciated her a little bit more, but when she told of her sister and how they relied on her I felt kind of bad for what was going to happen. But in the end I had to fight through that one stage you have to go through to run to her just for you to stop and decided; let's just say Krogans that run at you suck but when they run at you and you're on hardcore and your companions are already dead it's so much harder. So once I got to that point I was so pissed that I didn't feel bad at all for killing her off. Okay my rant is done, I apologize and I really hope you didn't read all of that. If you did good for you, but why would you put yourself through that torture?

On a side note the sentence in italics is a except for the poem Ulysses by Alfred. Lord Tennyson; so obviously it isn't mine. If you don't understand why I added that, while she is talking about her father she starts reciting part of the poem so I thought it fit in well. Also I apologize if you didn't like the shift from me talking to Ashley to Kaidan, but if you hate it a lot; too damn bad this is my poem.
