Disclaimer: I own nothing related to CSI.

A/N: So, I got a review from a dear, sweet reader - IKnowWhatToDoAboutThis who, upon reading Chapter 67 of In the Dark wrote, "FIX THIS ASAP!" To which I replied, "NOW?! RIGHT NOW?!" And then I gave her a possible conclusion to the story. She suggested I publish that ending as a joke.

Well, I am, not just for her, but also for my beta who asked me to tell her a joke yesterday, and I couldn't figure out a funny one. And I feel like a terrible friend. So here is a joke of an ending. I hope you all like it.

CHAPTER 68 - Well, at least a derivation of it...

Sara enters the hospital room, where Grissom is standing up. His ankle has miraculously healed and his back is to Sara, his bare ass enjoying the breath of the air conditioning.

"Hey there."

Grissom turns around with a big smile on his face. "Hey. I had a really good afternoon." In his hands is a crocheted teddy bear. "I had some spare time so I crocheted you a luv bear."

"Ahh," Sara said as she takes the bear. "But I'd rather have a huge from my luv bear."

They hug, then hump, then take turns smacking Jovelin's face, who entered the room during the humping.

"I forgot to tell you why I'm late," Sara said. "I had to check my lottery tickets. We won!"

"Cool!" Grissom said. "Let's go to Omaha!"

"What a great idea!" Sara yelled. "I'll rent a helicopter."

"Don't bother!" Grissom yelled. "My sweat and stuff made these bed sheets into a magic carpet. We'll just fly away!"

"Oh boy! I love used bed sheets!" Sara exclaimed.

And they opened the window and started a new life in Omaha, Neb., where they opened a men's pants store.

THE END

A/N: I ran into a block for Chapter 68, and I think I am almost done. But I thought I would give this a chance. If this is where I should just end the story, then please tell me. I take all kinds of feedback.

And to Chauncey, I hope you are feeling better.
