**This is my first story. Yay!**
Gabe was worried. He could see Diana and Natalie's relationship grow worse and worse. Diana now barely even remembered she had a daughter half the time, let alone Nat's birthdays and recitals. All she wanted to do was help Gabe. Who no one else could see. Most of the time Gabe enjoyed the attention, but other times he just wanted to grab his mom and shake some sense into her.
The pills weren't working, the shrinks weren't working. Gabe could only sit and watch his family fall apart. He tried to stay out of trouble, tried to hang out with Diana less, but Diana just baked him more treats, and then cried until he came out of hiding. Most of the fights in the house were about him. Natalie barely spoke to her mom. Dan's relationship with Diana was straining too.
Why couldn't Diana just see that?
