Hey guys this is one-shot one of two today. Hope you all enjoy!
"Ready for this Kai?" Jay grinned as they reached the peek of the rollercoaster. Ever since finding out that Kai had never ridden a rollercoaster before, Jay had made it his mission to get him to ride one. So here they were, Kai trembling in his seat and Jay and Nya sitting on either side of him hoping that if Kai decided to throw up it wouldn't be on them.
"I don't know. Can we make this thing stop? We're really high up," Kai turned pale quickly.
"You're going to be fine Kai. This coaster is perfectly safe. Nothing bad if going to happen," Nya said as the cart balanced itself on the top before shooting down.
Irk! The cart started to hang over the edge the jammed to a stop.
"Great! You jinxed it! Now we're stuck up here. How secured exactly is this thing?" Kai cried.
"You're not going to fall out if that's what you're asking," Jay replied.
What felt like hours to Kai passed by although anyone who had a watch on would have known that only a few minutes passed by as Kai continued to bawl like a little kid.
"Kai, you're going to be okay. It will be fixed soon I'm sure," Jay said.
"How do you know that?" Kai removed a shaking hand from the handlebars to wipe his tears.
"Because I have faith that God is going to keep us safe. That includes you Kai," Jay smiled a cheesy smile.
Nya let go with one hand to put her arm on her brother's shoulder, "Give up your fears to Him and wait out this with us."
Kai shut his eyes tight. God help me. I'm so afraid right now. Help me trust in you. Amen.
"That feels way better," Kai breathed in a sigh of relief.
"See? God is bigger than everything and that includes this rollercoaster," Jay smiled his typical cheesy smile at him.
"I see it."
However long they were up there is hard to tell, since none of them happened to be wearing a watch, but anyone in that cart that day knows that the three of them sang praises to God together until out of nowhere the coaster dropped and gave everyone a heart attack. All except Kai who had been anticipating that very moment and enjoyed the ride.
That ending was nowhere close to the way I anticipated it to end, but you know I'm going with it. One-shot two will be coming soon. It's also about Kai. He isn't my favorite character, but I love to write about him. His character is somewhat kind of like me if you stretch it far enough I guess. See Ya!
