[040 Sight- dedicated to Makani, my fellow Bella lurver and altogether Malfoy worshipper.
Narcissa and Bellatrix lounged by the Malfoy Manor pool, cosmopolitans in hand and sunglasses on nose. They were decked out in swimwear from the top fashion spots in Paris, but neither of them had any desire to swim. They sipped merrily from their cocktail glasses, discussing social gossip and delving into vicious peals of laughter. Bellatrix passed Narcissa a box of French bonbons, which she gratefully accepted.
A houself appeared at Narcissa's side and she gave a little jump at its sudden hideous visage near her elbow. "Master Lucius is home, Missus," It squeaked.
Narcissa lowered her glasses and looked into the creature's huge green eyes, "Well then, you better not be here. He was in a foul mood when he left, he'll be in a foul mood on his return. Oh… my sister and I need wine. White Zinfandel."
The elf disappeared again and Bellatrix gave a snicker. Narcissa rolled her eyes and smiled back at her sister. "Back to our conversation?" Narcissa inquired enthusiastically. "Do you think Parkinson is having an affair?"
"Oh, I wouldn't doubt it," Bellatrix chimed. "He's always seemed a promiscuous fellow. He's married his second cheap floozy, right?"
"Third," Narcissa said through a mouth of bonbon. "He's old enough to be her father… I actually think he has kids her age…"
Her train of chatter was interrupted by the sound of footsteps on the marble steps behind them. Narcissa smirked at her sister and turned to look over her chair. Lucius was approaching, a familiar scowl on his face. Bellatrix clenched her lips and snorted laughter into her beach towel as he approached.
"I should have known," Lucius observed in what would have appeared to be nonchalant to another's ear. "A gossip session. Isn't that a little unladylike, Narcissa?"
"Have you ever had tea with your mother, Lucius? You wouldn't call her unladylike," Narcissa returned with a soft, slightly sarcastic smile. Bellatrix held her towel over her mouth. Narcissa's cobalt eyes shot over to her giggling sister, now in tears laughing.
Lucius' eyes also fell on Bellatrix and his scowl deepened into a cold glare, "Am I amusing you, Creature?"
"Yes, in fact," Bellatrix squealed through chortles. "You should have seen your face!" She pulled her face into a grotesque, over exaggerated frown, jaw clenched and eyes narrowed. She held her expression for only a second before falling onto the chair arm with tears leaking from her deep gray eyes. At her sister's laughter, Narcissa bit her lip and held in a laugh, which escaped as a small cough. Lucius' eyebrow rose in aggravation before letting out a small sigh, "I hate it when your sister gets drunk at out house, Cissa."
Lucius turned on his heel and walked back into the house, the door slamming shut behind him. Upon hearing its loud closure, Narcissa doubled over laughing with Bellatrix. Next time they sat by the pool they were having Shirley Temples instead.
You know the drill; review it!
