Old Flame

"Look everybody! It's Viktor Krum!"
his disguise is blown. He starts to walk fast. Pretending he had not heard. He is in Diagon Alley, looking for a gift for his fiancé in Bulgaria.

"Wait up!" the small children shrieks. The children can now roam free once again. The dark lord is gone. Diagon Alley is again a wonderful place to could he risk his reputation? He stops and turns around.

"Viktor! How about a picture?" an elderly woman asks.
"Ov Course Madame," he says with a smile.
The children start to line up beside him. He carries one of them. He faces the camera. He looks past the camera. Someone catches his attention.

"Thank you Viktor!" the elderly woman says.
Viktor Krum nods in approval and follows the young woman that passed
by. She looks familiar. He remembers. The young woman feels a presence behind her. She grabs her wand and
turns around.

"Wait. Wait." Krum says. "It's me Hermy-own-ninny!"
"Viktor?" she exclaims. "What are you doing here?" she retracts her
wand.
"Vat are you doing here? I vas just passing by." he adds. "Are you still vith Ronald?"

The young witch hesitates. Krum was the first man who acknowledged her beauty. Where would they be if Krum didn't have to leave?

"I was also passing by." she answers. "Yes, I'm with Ron. How about you?" she tried to cheer him up. She couldn't lie to him. She loved Ron, after all they have been through.

"I have a girlfriend vack at Bulgaria. We're going to get married. Vhy don't you come vith Ronald?"
Hermione blushes. How could she think that an international quidditch player won't find himself a new love. She is so naive. She laughs.
Viktor loves that laugh. He smiles.
"Alright Viktor, I'll tell Ron. Owl me the details." she says. "I have to go. See you at the wedding! Congratulations!"
"Thank you Hermy-own-ninny." he replies.
Hermione shakes his hand then disapparates. She is happy for him. He finally found his true love. She is angry though, at herself for having been so naive enough as to think that he still fancied her.

The famous quidditch player disapparates shortly after Hermione does.
He was not able to purchase anything for his fiancé. Opening the door to his house, the smell of native chicken wafts though the air. He enters the kitchen and sees food set on the table. His fiancé hugs him from behind.

"Surprise Viktor!" she says. "I made your favorite."
"Thank You," he pecks her cheek and sits down to dine.

It's unfair for her if I conitinue to think about Herm-own-ninny. But what can I do. Herm-own-ninny was the first girl
I ever felt that way about. Even if I love my fiancé, Herm-own-ninny is still in my heart.

His fiancé turns to go. She pecks his cheek before she leaves. Viktor smiles and says his goodbyes. The old flame in his heart needs time before it can stop burning.
