'Sup, y'all. Okay, so. Good news: I have a tumblr (no-g00d-usernames-left)! Bad news: I also have carpal tunnel! So if you don't see anything from me for a while, it's because my right hand (and sometimes my left) is in a brace and typing is a pain. But I found this little thing that I wrote forever ago and it was cute and I thought I'd post it just sort of as an excuse to share my news.

Sam barely glanced up as he heard the footsteps approaching, though he did obediently tilt his head forward so that Molly could reach the hairs at the nape of his neck. He continued typing out everything the little girl said so he would remember it.

"Then the monster screamed at me, and that was scary. I'm almost done." She tilted his head back against her knees so she could look at him upside-down. "Can I start over? They're not even."

Even as he winced internally at the thought of more painful tugs and jerks as she redid the braids, he smiled and nodded. "How about you tell me some more about what the monster looked like, and then you can, okay?"

He ignored Dean's snort of laughter and barely grimaced as Molly did his hair in cornrows.

OH MAI GAW YOU GUYS. I only realized after I posted this that it was my 100th story. And now I'm kind of annoyed at myself for posting THIS thing as #100. Sigh.
