"My queen." The words were filled with persuasion from the King's lips as he moved closer towards his newly anointed wife. He brushed his hand down her face softly before he let his lips lead the way towards hers, grazing them with a kiss before looking her in the eyes. Arthur loved her with all of his heart and Gwen loved him perhaps even more than that. Their wedding night was to be special and so he swooped in to pick her up, carrying her into the bedroom with knights guarding the door from a distance. He placed her on the bed, letting their lips smash together in contrast with the kiss that had occurred not even a minute before. Gwen was eager to reciprocate before they entered the consummation of the marriage.

The next morning, neither wanted to wake up nor leave the room but they knew they must. As a Queen of the castle, Gwen had more responsibilities than she had as a servant and as King, Arthur was constantly busy. Lazily, Arthur pushed himself up to prop himself up with his elbows as he looked upon his sleeping queen. He kissed her forehead before standing up and dressing himself so he could put the knights through training once more as he had always done. Gwen's eyes opened and she herself got up, putting her outfit together and on. They had just finished when Merlin knocked on the door, asking to enter the room. Merlin was no fool and he knew what marriage meant… he had to knock out of respect for that reason alone. "Come in." Arthur's voice was strong and regal as he looked towards the door. Merlin rushed in with food prepared for the two of them. Arthur had to admit he was impressed that the servant had not forgotten to knock and had not forgotten breakfast all together. "Thank you, Merlin." He said as he motioned towards the table.

Merlin shot the two a smile before going to leave the room. "Merlin?" Gwen's voice finally became present. She had not seen the servant in a while… since she had become engaged as a matter of fact. She gave him a hug. "Thank you for always being there for us." The words were said loud enough for both of the men to hear. "Queen Guinevere, I will always be there for you both. That is a promise." Gwen had discovered Merlin's secret only a few months prior and so the words held more meaning to her than they did to the king who still thought his servant was weak and dumb. Merlin dipped his head to the both of them before turning and scampering out of the room. He arrived back to the house he now called his own since Gaius' passing. He looked out has back window, letting out a fierce howl of words in a storm. "RAC TE THUMRE DE LOS PENTAS." The dragon speech rang through the sky like it had come from a dragon itself. In the distance the boy saw the Golden Dragon flying towards him. The entire kingdom knew that Merlin was a Dragonlord except for seemingly Arthur who refused to believe it. "It has been too peaceful here and I seek your sight. Is Arthur in danger? Are there any threats?" The paranoid warlock asked his friend for information. The great dragon sighed, eyeing the man befre speaking in a soft tone. "Oh, young warlock, Arthur is living at a time of peace and while all peace must end, now is not the time. Keep your eyes peeled." The dragon took off towards the sky but Merlin was not happy with that answer.

Chores, chores, and more chores followed that day as he did Arthur's every whim. Little did he know this would be his last day as a servant.
