Finn felt horrible. His head hurt, he was tired, and the only reason he didn't go to the nurse to leave school early was because he still had glee to look forward to. It was almost time for 6 period. Glee was 7 period. An entire 45 minutes...

"Maybe I'll take a walk during 6 period. Clear my mind before glee starts. My U.S. History teacher won't mind. I don't think...No one is going to be on the football field, I'll just hang out there."

As the bell rang, signaling the students had 7 minutes to get their books and get to class, Finn walked straight into the bathroom, waiting until everyone was in their classes before he went out to the football field.

Rachel felt guilty about what she was about to do. She hadn't been able to pay attention to any of her classes, and she didn't have breakfast this morning. She had slowly let herself go since she found out about Finn and Quinn. Were they a couple now that she and Sam were broken up? And would she be receiving daily slushie facials now? The bell rang, interrupting Rachel's thoughts, and she grabbed her books, put on her sweater, then headed outside towards the football field. She had never skipped a class before. What if she got caught?

She had started to worry, but she had already got out onto the football field. It was such a nice day, the grass looked so green, and she was so tired. She walked onto the field, right into the middle, and laid down. She was out there for a while before she heard someone call her name. She sat bolt upright, thinking she was caught. She squinted, looking towards the sun, and saw a six-foot-three silhouette in front of her. Finn. She stood up, smoothing her skirt and pulling a piece of grass from her hair.

"Hey, Rach. What are you doing out here?"

"I could ask you the same thing, Finn." She said. Finn shoved his hands so deep into his pockets they looked like they would fall down to his ankles.

"Sorry," he mumbled. "Can I join you?

"Sure. I don't really care."

Finn was lying down next to her, and Rachel couldn't help but notice their hands were very close. 'Stop it, Rachel. He loves Quinn. He said he didn't feel fireworks.' She didn't mean to let it get out, but a sob escaped her turned his head to face Rachel. Was she crying?

"Rach, what's wrong?" he asked. He was resting on his elbows, looking down at her.

"Y-you didn't feel fireworks when we k-kissed." she said, sitting up and putting her face in her hands. She felt stupid for crying, but she needed to let these feelings out. "Did you even love me?" She said it so quietly he was surprised he actually heard it.

"Of course I loved you. With all of my heart." He touched her hand. Sparks flew. He didn't know if she felt them, but he did. Rachel looked at him and gave him a watery smile, wiped her eyes and lied back down. Finn resumed his place next to her. This time they were closer.

"I still do" he whispered. Rachel heard him and moved her hand closer to his. He did the same, until he was holding her hand. Something shiny and gold glimmered in the sun. Finn looked up, and saw the 'Finn' necklace, the chain wrapped multiple times around a zipper on Rachel's backpack as a key chain.

'I still do.' Finn thought to himself.
