Clinging onto Old Memories
AN: This is just a poem that I thought might suit FF10. The ending was
soo sad!!! Anyways I hope you like this poem as much as I love Final

When I look back,
At those times when you were by my side.
Always there, always caring.
When I needed you,
You were there, holding my hand.
My heart-aches everytime I think of you,
How it hurts when I think of you smiling at me.
You lit the light in my life,
You made me glow.
And then...you went away.
And I knew..that you were never going to come back,
Not in a million years, not ever.
I sometime wish I could have gone with you,
Gone with you to your home, gone with you to Zanarkland.
I want to be in those arms that made me feel safe,
I wanted you to protect me forever.
I wanted to cheer at your matches and for you to look up at me,
And win the game, for the sake of pleasing me.
I remember when I was full of sadness,
You kissed away the tears.
And when I thought there was no hope,
You showed me the way.
I couldn't have gotten through that time in my life without you.
Even though the others are here, it's not the same.
I love you so much and I remember you so well,
In the center of my heart and the pit of my soul,
I hope you feel the same way too.
I could whistle but I know you won't come.
You can't come....
I guess I'm just clinging,
Clinging onto old memories.
