Rebecca Wolf arrived at the synagogue, tardy as usual. She slipped in unnoticed by everybody. She slips into a bench at the Back of the room, and opens her Torah, joining in upon the exact line the Rabbi was reciting. It was the Infamous Exodus he was reciting, and they were very nearly over. Valdez, renamed Boyml, was a relatively small city for Yiddish Alaska, and everyone knew each other through the Synagogue. A Few Native Americans and American Whites who lived here knew everyone else through other means, like School.

Rabbi Verbov dismissed the People from the synagogue after a quick prayer. Rebecca was relieved, despite only being there for a few minutes. She was excited, and her chipper brown eyes would water if it weren't for self control.

As The Synagogue emptied, Rebecca sprinted down the steps, running down the Snow covered streets. Her maroon scarf whipped around behind her like a wagging tail, and her jack blew back like a flowing cape. Her breath hung in the air as a musty fog before being swept away by the motion of Rebecca passing by.

She was heading for her house, a small, squat, red onestory house. It was one of the original ones constructed by the United States for the Jewish Refugees. The United States acknowledges Yiddish Alaska as a Sovereign Country, but Intervenes as an Older Brother would. It rescued the Jews after Egypt overpowered Israel in 1948, and gave them Soveriegn Land to settle in. It was either Alaska's Southern Portion, or an Occupied Israel.

That history was fascinating to Rebecca, but she truly did not care if the Jews had settled in a strip of Bullshit land at the moment. She was being accepted into The Temple University of Arts and Music in Mainz for a Semester. She could careless if God sent Plagues to the World, as long as she could go to Mainz.

Mainz, Rhineland was the Capital of Art in the Germanic World, with influences from French Paintings, Italian Music, and German Architecture. It was an Honor to even get into the Campus once, but to go there for a semester was a Blessing from God himself.

She was extatic, and one could tell that instantly from her rosy Cheeks and ear to ear smile. Her bright eyes lit up the street, and her smile could shine for many miles.

She had to give her news to her mother, Betsy Wolf. She would be astounded to know her daughter was a going to the Premier Art Center of the World. She was going to be so proud as well.

Rebecca smiled at this thought. Probably the First Jew, from a race beaten by Muslims, Romans, Christians, Nazis, Americans, British, and Palestinians, to be accepted to Any university in Rhineland was an awe inspiring thing.

Jacob Desmond Sat in front of the Fence, the Interminable fence seperating West Australia from Australia.

Such wonders on the Other side were spoken about, but never experienced. West Australia was a Fascist Industrial State. They pumped out Cheap diamonds and electronics, for the World. Little was wasted upon the People.

If it didn't mean getting work done, People were not allowed to have it. Their healthcare system was the best in the World, at the expense of leisurely electronics. There was no such thing as a home computer, or home Air conditioning.

You lived in a Community House, you were taught in a community school, you worked in a Community Factory, and your dead, spirit drained body was Incinerated at the End of it all.

Jacob pondered why it was this way. He knew not of any other way, but pondered what his world would be like if it was all was One for all and all for one.

He could ponder no longer, as his Dad drags him away to the Community House.

Crosstime Traffic will come in in a few chapters, after I introduce all the Characters.

Until then Review. Or Flame.
