Tick tock goes the clock
Time is going so slow
And I'm supposed to be fast asleep
A couple of hours ago
Draco sat in the common room staring at the flames dying in the fireplace. He couldn't believe he'd fucked things up so badly. She had been everything to him, but just like that, she was gone from his life. Draco sighed and lay back against the couch, he hadn't been able to sleep since they broke up, the harsh words she had said to him still burned him inside, the look of complete hatred in her eyes,
FLASHBACK
"How could you Draco!?" Hermione yelled, "I trusted you"
"Hermione, please let me explain!" he replied quietly, "She came onto me" Hermione laughed,
"And you gladly accepted, you just couldn't wait for me to be ready!" she spat, "I should have listned to Harry and Ron, a Malfoy never changes its spots!" with that, she walked out of his life.
Draco mused over her words, he had changed, he had completely disowned his family, all for her, standing Draco made his way to Hermione's room, he stood in front of his door, fist raised ready to knock
So I
I need to excersise
The right I've got to rest these eyes

I need to knock on some doors
Then I wouldn't have to lie here by myself anymore
He didn't know what he would say to her, she was probably asleep anyway, it was three in the morning after all. Draco sighed and turned back towards his room, he would try to speak to her in the morning.
"Draco" a voice behind him said softly, he turned to see Hermione's blood shot eyes looking at him, she had been crying.

"Hermione" he breathed, he knew in his heart he had fallen for her, he had loved her since the start of the term, the way she never backed down from an argument, how his insults had never phased her, "I'm so sorry" he whispered, Hermione looked at the floor,
"So am I" she whispered, Draco lifted her chin so that she was looking at him,
"Hermione, I love you" he whispered, Hermione's face spread into a smile as she threw her arms around him, Draco picked her up and walked her over to her bed, "I'll wait for you as long as it takes, even if it is after we get married" he said, placing her on her bed, he lay down next to her, he leaned down and kissed her gently on the lips,
Draco" she whispered, kissing him back, "I'm glad you understand how important this is to me, it doesn't mean I don't love you" Draco ran his fingers through her hair,
"I know, love" he whispered.
Hermione and Draco lay together on her bed talking about their future, they had never really discussed it before and Draco was relieved that Hermione had a lot of the same dreams as him.
It was just before dawn when the two lovers finally drifted into a peaceful sleep, wrapped in each others arms.
