Hey Guys, I am back! Exams are all finished and I am now free. Here I've decided to start a fan fiction on Naruto. Depending on your reaction this first chapter, I'll decide whether to continue writing.
I don't own Naruto, this is just me messing around with his world.
Companion: a person or animal with whom one spends a lot of time or with whom one travels.
The above was a dictionary meaning of the work companion; it is a word that can be used on most people in Konohagakure as each citizen recognizes themselves as part of the great tree. Trunk, leafs, branches, Cough! Root Cough! And all.
It is a word that never applied to one Uzumaki Naruto, whose childhood was filled with memories of being chased, hunted and threatened. Who never had any constant individual in his life, save the small group of ANBU and the "Old Man Sarutobi" whose time is never enough.
Through the Sandaime, Naruto had come to appreciate the people of Konoha, learning to "look underneath the underneath" as a certain grey-haired Jonin would say. When he look at the citizens of Konoha, he would see the moving little dots as more then just people, he would see strings linking between each citizen, he would see the bond between friends, love between families. Through Sarutobi, Naruto had learnt to carry the will of fire.
The amalgam of his dream and his happy-go-lucky personality will most certainty win him a close circle of friends later in life.
But as mentioned, companions are never restricted to human. For a ninja the word means so much more then it would to a citizen, their companions are the ones they fight along with, the one who you could always rely on. For Jiraya, they are his drinking and fighting partners, for Tsunade they are her medical assistants, for the Aburame clan they are family.
Many of you may ask, "So who does Naruto have? A Fox, maybe? Or is it a lion of some sort?"
Truth be told, he doesn't really have anyone at the age of nine, but he will soon. Very very soon. And when he finally meets them, it will mark the beginning of his journey to become the one we call "The general of eight legs."
This is the story of Uzumaki Naruto and his expedition in gaining companions in more then just one way.
So here it is, short I know. The basic idea is that Naruto would somehow manage to tame all manner of arachnids (Spider, Scorpions…) you get the hint. He won't be stupidly over powered and will go through a lot of work before he finally gets the spider to cooperate with him (with a lot of bribes), before that they will just act like any talking pet.
