Chapter 1 Disclaimer:
"I think it's better we end everything now." He said to me emotionlessly. Nothing can be seen through his cold crimson eyes.
"B-but why? Did I do something wrong?" I asked.
"You haven't done anything wrong, it's just that I don't think I harbour the same feelings you have for me. I'm sorry and goodbye." With that, he left, leaving me behind while I cry under the cherry blossom tree.
"Aire … Aire … wake up now…" the gentle voice made me open my eyes slightly. "Takuma-nii…" I said as I sit up and rubbed my eyes. "You're quite early today…" I said lowly. "Yes. I came here to see you." He was sitting on the edge of my bed and moved closer to where I am. He stared at my face and emerald orbs met sea blue ones. He gave me a gentle smile and leaned in forward and kissed my forehead, backing away slightly, he hugged my small frame and whispered sweetly into my ear "I missed you so much, my little sister." "I missed you too Takuma onii-san." I said as she hugged him back.
"What brings you here, nii-san?" I asked him as we parted from the hug.
"I came here to ask you again to come with me-"
"To Cross Academy? I know." I cut him off because I already know what he was going to say.
"Yes." He gave me a faint smile.
"You know the reason why I don't want to come there although I want to be always by your side." I lowered my head avoiding his gaze.
"I know, but I want you to come with me, please?" He pleaded me. Takuma-nii had been bugging me these days that I should go with him to Cross Academy.
"… Yes …" I hesitantly said. "Thank you Aire." He gave me another smile, he really do like smiling early in the morning.
Fourteen Years Ago
My father and my mother are very well known pureblood vampires. Since we have a high status in the vampire's society, many vampires feared us, but who would have thought that my parents, who were one of the strongest and powerful vampires, as powerful as the Kurans will be a victim of a murder. Ever since they died, I've chosen to live with the Ichijous, one of the most trusted friends of my parents. My older brother wanted to live with me here in Japan but I told him that if our youngest sister knew about how our parents died, it will not do any good since she was only 8 months old when the murder happened, so he had decided that it's best that they stay in Europe and promised me that they'll come back here in Japan when our sister is old enough to know about our parents. My brother, my sister and I remain very close to each other even though we live far away from each other, there's technology and sometimes I visit them in Europe so it wasn't that hard to stay in contact with them. Since I've been living with the Ichijous at the age of four, I grew fond of Takuma and eventually addressed him as 'onii-san' because he always acted as my brother when my real brother wasn't around. Kain, Aidou, Senri, Rima, Ruka and Kaname are also my childhood friends since they are the only vampires close to the age as I am.
And recently now, Takuma had been bugging me to come with him to Cross Academy, and me, having a soft heart over him, I eventually gave up and agreed on coming with him. I hope coming with him will turn out fine … or maybe not.
