I really should be working on my sequel to no friends now, but i had to write this, this is how i would like the scene in the hunger games: catching fire book, where president snow tells katniss to convince him on her love of peeta, to play out in the catching fire movie, this takes place in snow's rose garden
disclaimer: I do not own the hunger games
"we are not much different, you and I" it was a short sentence, but it made Katniss's face frown deeper then she had already had, and anger strike up
"We are nothing alike!" she didn't mean to sound so childish with her shouting, but how could she be anything like this man
"We both care for roses"
Katniss's face turned puzzled.
"You care for a primrose, I prefer the thorn rose"
She thought about prim, her thought's worried, why did he bring her here, what for? What to say?
"It would be a shame" he grabbed a rose, and with one swift movement, cut the rose off its stem. "If that primrose, were to wither.
Katniss still didn't understand
"I have reason to believe, gale is not your cousin"
So he knew, but how? How did he know? Did he see them, that day, the kiss?
"So, why should I believe that you and peeta are really in love?"
"Because its true" katniss replied, it was all she could come up with
"Then, convince me."
Katniss's face showed realization, one false move, and her family's life would be endangered, of course, it already had.
