Hi guys! This is my second fanfic! It's been a long time since my last story here on Fanfiction. I'm sorry that I just disappeared suddenly, but I really have a problem of coming up with story ideas that can be considered good. Also, I feel like my writing skills are too bad to show in a story. I write like a friggin' pre-schooler! And I'm in high school/11th grade (I'm not from the US, don't know what my school system is compared to yours) soon... help me. Anyways, I really hope you'll like this one (and maybe it'll turn out better than my 1st story), so without further ado, hope you enjoy!

PS: It includes my OC, Lea Terrano. She is the Black Dragon Slayer and was trained by Acnologia, just so you know. ;)

It was a normal, late autumn day in Magnolia. The city busy as always. As for Fairy Tail, they were noisy like they always are. Tables and chairs flying through the air while drunk and non-drunk wizards either fight or talk. At a table near the bar, the most famous team of them all, team Natsu enjoy their drinks and each other's conversations. Everyone was present, except for a certain cool-headed mage.

"Where is that ice-jerk exactly?", asked Natsu annoyed of his teammate/rival not being present. Gajeel shrugged and answered without taking his eyes of the book he was reading. "I dunno. Maybe he's on a job." Erza took another piece of her strawberry cheese cake before giving her answer. "No, he's not on a job. In fact, I haven't seen him all day. I myself wonder where Gray is." She looked at the doors as she said the last part, hoping it would give her an answer. "You know, he might just be late or maybe he's still sleeping," Lucy suggested as she looked at the clear liquid in her glass. She looked at the rest of her team. "Or maybe he's taking his time to do something, that could be an option." Everyone at the table thought for a moment and agreed to the Celestial wizard's answer. "My Gray is never late! He is always early in the guild, like the rest of you! He may be in trouble right now!" Juvia chimed in with her hands clasped together as the thought of her darling in trouble made small tears form in the corner of her deep blue eyes. A light blond girl with aquamarine eyes stood up with both hands firmly on the wooden table. "I'll go and check on him if you want. I'll do it right now!" She put on her white jacket and closed the zipper and smiled as she made her way to the door. She turned around a last time facing her comrades. "I'll report back when I got something. Bye!" Lea Terrano waved with a sweet smile. She opened the door and ignored the words "love rival" come from the blue haired water mage. She went out and headed directly to the ice mage's house.

Lea walked through the crowded streets of Magnolia as she made her way to Gray's house. The trees were almost naked, but a few leaves were still on the branches. It was October and many leaves were already at the ground covering the bare ground as a red and yellow carpet. She strolled down a road of familiar scenery as she could finally recognize the house of Gray. It wasn't like Natsu's house, nor like Lucy's, but something in between. A nice place for a guy like Gray who has a pretty normal rent.

She stood in front of the dark wooden door and knocked lightly on it, not wanting to be rude. She fumbled with her hands as she waited for the door to open and expected to be greeted by a dark-haired male probably half naked but got nothing. She furrowed her eyebrows and decided to try again. As she was about to knock again, the door finally opened to reveal Gray with (surprisingly) clothes on and a carpet around him. He looked at her with half-closed, dark eyes and spoke to her with an almost sore voice. "O-Oh, hey Lea! W-What are you doing here?" He gave a weak smile and tried to stay awake which he probably failed at. "Hi Gray. I just came by to check up on you. You didn't come to the guild today and the team was worried, so I decided to come here to see if anything was wrong. And something is clearly wrong. You look awful, what is it? The Dragon Slayer asked worried. Gray looked at the girl in front of him with a sad kind of look knowing he had to say it. "I'm si-", he took a deep breath, but it wasn't forced. "You're what?" Lea asked confused of his sudden stop. Gray tried again. "I'm si-". He breathed in again. "What?" Lea leaned in closer trying to hear him better. Gray cursed at himself and tried again. "I'm, I'm- *ACHOO*" Lea's eyes were wide open and as a reflex she made a dark aquamarine shield with her hands to her chest to shield herself from his "attack".

She looked at her shield and her face made a disgusted look as she caught the site of Gray's snot on it. She looked questioningly at him and he just answered with an annoyed tone as he finally could force the words out of his mouth. "I'm sick." Lea made the magical shield disappear. "Oh! Wait, I didn't know ice wizards could get sick." Lea wondered how this happened as she put a finger to her chin. "I get sick like everyone else, ok?" Gray brought the carpet closer to his body. "I need to get to the sofa or my bed. I have to lay down." The ice wizard was about to turn around when Lea grabbed his arm and made him stop. He stared at her with a questioning look. "I can stay if you like. I mean, you look pretty hopeless on your own right now." She gave a light chuckle at the end. Gray gave a soft smile in return and a light pink hue appeared on his cheeks. Inside he really hoped she didn't see that. Gray went inside his house and Lea followed right after and closed the door. She herself had a pink hue on her cheeks which she hoped Gray didn't see.

Gray lay himself in the sofa and adjusted the dark blue carpet he had over his shoulders just a minute ago so that it was over him like a blanket. He sunk under it and closed his eyes feeling the soft fabric that covered his whole body except for his head. Lea sat herself at the edge of the sofa and placed her hand softly on his dark hair and stroked it slowly. A few strands of his dark locks got in between in her fingers, but it didn't matter to her, 'cuz she had nothing against the soft feeling they gave to her fingers. "His hair is so soft. I wonder what kind of shampoo he uses?...Why do I even think that?!" Lea shrugged that thought away when she saw that Gray looked at her with a shocked expression. When she realised what she did, her face became red as Erza's hair and she moved her hand from his hair to her lap, her face still flustered. "No no no! It's ok! I actually...liked it." Gray sat up straight and took her hand in his and gave it a light squeeze. They stared at each other in silence as they both blushed. Gray watched as Lea went to the kitchen to fix something up for him.

Lea came out of the kitchen with a cup of warm peach tea to them both. She sat at the edge of the sofa again and gave him his cup. She smiled at him and he did the same to her. Gray took a sip of it. "Hey, this is pretty nice. You're the best." He gave Lea a smirk that made her blush even more. Was it even possible to blush more than she already did? They enjoyed their tea and each other's company. They talked and laughed and just let the day pass by.

Hours went, and the night came with its stars and its moon. "... and then I said-" Gray laughed so hard that tears of laughter started to become visible in his eyes. In fact, he laughed so hard that he couldn't finish his sentence. "Gray, Gray! St-stop okay? I-I can't even!" Lea also laughed to tears while she held herself. As the laughter died off, Gray had a smirk plastered on his face. He had an idea. "It's late so I'll get home now." Lea said as she stood up. When she just got up, Gray grabbed her wrist and pulled her back so much that she fell beside him on the sofa. He had the blanket raised as she fell next to him, and when she was fully down on the sofa, he pulled the covers back up so that it covered them both. Lea stared wide eyed at Gray who still had the sexy smirk plastered on his face. "Nope. You're not going anywhere. You're gonna stay over for the night." He whispered the words in her ear with a low but clear voice that sent shivers down her spine, but in a good way. She dug her face more under the covers and moved closer to his chest trying to shield her red flushed face. He took his arm and draped it over her waist pulling her closer to him. So close that she could feel the ice wizard's hot breath at her neck. "I-If it's okay with you, then s-sure." She spoke the words with a low voice trying not to sound nervous. "I wouldn't have asked you if it wasn't okay." The words coming out of his mouth gave a calm and safe feeling to Lea. His voice was so deep, and it fit his bad-boy personality so damn well. Both wizards closed their eyes as sleep took over.

The next day came and the sun shined through the window and lighted up the room. Lea opened her eyes and rubbed them to get the sleep out. She tried to recall what happened yesterday and where she was. When she tried to stretch out or even get out of what she was laying on, she felt that something or someone held her firmly down. She turned to the side to see Gray in a deep sleep. She watched as small breaths escaped his lips and how his now bare chest rose and fell slowly in synch with his steady breaths. She laid her head softly on his well-built chest and listened to his heartbeats. "Morning princess." She looked back up at him seeing that he now was awake with half-closed eyes and a comforting smile. She smiled back and replied with a soft tone. "Morning prince." They both chuckled at their nicknames and got up from the sofa, the blue blanket falling to the far end of the sofa in the process. "Are you feeling better?" Lea asked soothingly while taking the empty cups to the kitchen. "Yeah. The tea and a little nap helped a lot." Gray answered back with a smile. "It was nice to stay with you!" Lea shouted from the kitchen. "Thanks. It was nice of you to stay!" He replied with a smirk that she probably didn't see but knew that he made. Lea came back and took her jacket. "Well, let's get to the guild!" She waited for him at the door. "Oh, and also, please remember clothes." She added the last part with a small laugh. "I can't help it, okay. It just happens!" He shouted while fulfilling Lea's request. She just laughed in response. Gray came clothed and ready to go. They got out of the house and headed for the guild hall of Fairy Tail.

Finally arriving at the guild, they opened the door to be greeted by a flying table heading their way. Gray acted quickly and got into a fighting stance. "Ice Make: Shield!" He yelled and moved his hands in front of him to make a big shield of ice. The table hit the shield but fell right at the ground in front of them. When Gray put his hands back down, he clenched them into fists. "Okay, who threw that and almost killed me and Lea?!" He shouted it so loud that all focus was now on the latter and the female wizard behind him. "Hey! There you are, popsicle! Where you been exactly?!" An angry, fired up Natsu stomped his way towards the two mages and pointed at the dark-haired ice wizard. "I got a cold and got sick yesterday, so Lea came to check up on me and she took care of me! There, got your explanation now, flame for brains?" Gray insulted Natsu with one of his known nicknames for the Salamander. "What did just call me, ice pr- oh hey Lea how you doin'?" Natsu started insulting Gray back but when he saw Lea, he just smiled at her and calmed down again. "I'm doing great, Natsu, don't you worry. I just took care of Gray yesterday, just like he said." Lea smiled back and stood next to Gray. "Well, it's great that you got better, Gray. I got a bit worried there." Erza came up to them with her arms crossed over her chest and a genuine smile. Gray smiled back in response. "Lea that was so nice of you! You two had a great time for sure." Lucy ran up to them and gave the Ice Mage and the Dragon Slayer a wink. Not knowing if she meant it as a friendly wink or a perverted wink, they both stared at each other then looked away blushing furiously.

The team went to their normal table and talked about everything they could talk about, except yesterday because neither Gray or Lea wanted to talk about it 'cuz who knows what people would say about them. The guild is a weird place and a little rumour could evolve into a big talk, just like that. The friends talked and drank and laughed, as always. Gray drank a beer and talked with Happy about something while Lea got up and went to the bar to get a refill. "Soooo... How was the alone-time with Gray in HIS house?" Mira asked sweetly leaning on the bar wanting to hear something good. "It was nothing. We just talked and laughed and I made him some tea and he let me stay in his house for the night and we lay in the sofa together and- *SMACK!* Lea smacked a hand over her mouth blushing furiously realising that she said too much. "Aaaawwww! That is so cuuuuute!" Mira squealed happily. "Please, Mira, don't say this to anybody." Lea begged her almost giving her the puppy eyes. "Sure. My lips are sealed." She said drawing a zipper in front of her lips to confirm it. "Phew. Thanks, Mira. You're the best." Lea said as she had gotten her refill and went back to the table taking her place from before: On the left side of Gray. She joined in with the gang and laughed as well. Mira from her bar view looked at them and smiled when she saw that Gray sneaked his left arm behind Lea's back before finally resting on the left side of her waist. She hummed for herself as a thought crossed her mind. "Hmm, I wonder if GrayLea will last? Well, we'll just have to see!" Mira continued with her job as the thought she had rested on her mind for the whole day.

End! (No, not E.N.D. that is another thing...)
