It was sunset. A boy with red congress and black skinny jeans stood on a ledge. The wind ruffled his black, spiky hair. He scanned the valley below him with calm, emerald eyes. He rubbed his freckles for good luck, straightened his white tee-shirt, then leaped into the wind. He seemed to hover in mid-air for a heartbeat, then plumetted down to earth. The boy was as calm as ever. He spread his arms and legs out and let go of his fear. Suddenly, brown feathers sprouted. A white, fluffy collar spread down his neck and his upper back, but only on the back. Large wings sprouted, and he shrank. The wings grew larger and larger, and his clothes disappeared, revealing his new, bird body. Clawed, hairless feet appeared, along with a feathery tail. The tail was large, wide and flat, and it looked like five or six rows were on it. A long, thin beak replaced his mouth, with four fleshy spikes now on the top of his head. The spikes were well rounded at the tip, making them not really spikes. His eyes changed to darty, black hawk's eyes. The boy was no longer a boy, he was a Fearow. The boy's name was Leap, for his famous leaps in his transformation to his Pok Form, Fearow. Leap was part of an ancient race named Pok maguis, and he was part of the Bird Branch. The Bird and the Aqua Branches were deep in war, and the Aqua had a good lead. But that would change with the help of the Mountain Branch, the biggest Branch. Leap could only smile at this thought, and he soared upwards.

"You, uh, Fearow!" Leap flew down. A Golem Pok maguis stood there. Suddenly, the Golem's body deflated into the shape of a boy with a stocky, muscular build. The short legs grew and transformed into human legs with green jeans on. Black army boots appeared, along with a white, tucked in tank-top. The misshappen boy's head grew red-orange hair, freckles and pale green eyes. The Pok maguis was in HumanForm. Leap glided down and transformed back into a human. He brushed off some feathers that clung to his white tee, and turned to the Pok maguis. "Name?" Leap questioned. "G-Gravel, sir." The nervous Pok maguis stammered. "I'm here to talk war to your leader, Gravel. Take me to him." Gravel nodded and led Leap into a cave. "It's like, an alien asking, 'Take me to your leader!" Ha ha! Ha ha, ha. Ha." Gravel joked. One look from Leap, and Gravel was silent. Gravel ended the escort with a small salute. Leap brushed past the guards, a Lucario and Machamp Pok maguis, both in Pok Form. Leap entered a small cavern with staglamites hanging from the low ceiling and puddles of cool stream water everywhere. On a pile of rocks and stones, a huge Aggron Pok maguis sat. "Name?" The Aggron questioned. It was Leap's turn to stammer. "L-Leap." "Pff, dumb name for a dumb Pok maguis!" The Aggron scoffed. Leap held his head high. "One wrong move, Aggron-ee, and you and the Mountain Branch are toast." The Aggron leaned forward. "Aggron-ee? Leap, certainly you know my name? No? Well, ha ha ha! My name is Egg. I'm quite bitter, I must warn. Ha ha ha! Bah ha ha ha ha ha!" The Aggron growled, ending in a good natured chuckle. Leap flinched. "Egg?" Egg nodded. Leap held back a snicker. "Egg." Leap giggled. "Don't you dare, Leap Bird." Egg hissed, sitting back. Leap straightened. "Egg, let's talk war."
