Cat Valentine closed her locker and she wanted to go to the place where she introduced her new friend Oona to Tori, Andre, Robbie, Jade, and Trina.

Tori was at her locker. Cat walked over to Tori. "Hi." Cat said. Tori saw her friend. "Hey Cat." Tori said. "Hey, so after school, you want to go to the squad?" Cat asked.

"Squad? What squad?" Tori asked. "You know, the squad that we went to last year." Cat said. Jade walked over. "Last year? What happened last year?" Jade asked. "Odd Squad." Cat said.

"Odd Squad?" Tori asked. "Yeah." Cat said. "I don't remember it." Jade said. "Neither do I." Tori said. "I can't believe you don't remember. Andre, Robbie, and Trina were with us." Cat said.

"Yeah. I don't remember." Jade said. Then Cat showed Jade and Tori the picture of her and Oona.

"Oh." Tori said. "Now I remember and that day was horrible." Jade said. "So do you guys want to join me and visit Oona today?" Cat asked.

"Uh….no. Bye." Jade said and she left.

"Okay. Um Tori, do you want to visit Oona today?" Cat asked. Tori closed her locker. "Um Cat, can I talk to you for a section? Look, it's really nice that you invited me, but I can't go." Tori said. "Why not?" Cat asked. "I've got a lot of homework to do." Tori said. "Okay." Cat said.

Trina saw Tori. "Hey Tori, ready to go?" Trina asked. "Yeah." Tori said. "Go where?" Cat asked. "Tori and I are going to have some family pot pie. Our mom made it." Trina said.

"But I thought you had homework." Cat said. "I do." Tori said. "Okay." Cat said.

Andre and Robbie were checking their phones by the staircase. "Hi." Cat said. "Hey Cat." Robbie said. "S'up little red?" Andre asked. "Do you guys want to go to Odd Squad?" Cat asked.

"Oh man. Not that lame place again." Rex said. "It's not a lame place. It's really nice and I really like it there." Cat said.

"Sorry Cat, we're busy." Andre said. "I understand." Cat said and she walked away.

Beck walked to his locker. Cat saw him and ran over. "Beck!" Cat yelled. "Hi Cat." Beck said. "Do you want to go to Odd Squad?" Cat asked.

When Cat took her friends to the squad last year, Beck wasn't there and he didn't meet the Odd Squad agents. "What did you say Cat?" Beck asked.

"Odd Squad. Don't you know about it?" Cat asked. "No." Beck said. "But you went with me and everyone else last year." Cat said. "No I didn't." Beck said.

Cat gasped. Then she remembered. Beck was absent when his friends went to the squad.

"Oh. Do you want to come?" Cat asked. "Sure. We can do it after school." Beck said. "Kay-kay." Cat said. "I'll see you later." Beck said and he walked away. "Bye." Cat said.

Jade checked her phone and she saw a text from Beck. Quickly, she ran over to him. "Hey! Explain this!" Jade yelled.

Beck looked at Jade's phone. "Yeah. That's right." Beck said. "Where are you going with Cat?" Jade asked. "Cat just wants to show me something." Beck said.

"What?" Jade asked. "We're just going to a place." Beck said. "To where? Odd Squad?" Jade asked. "Yeah." Beck said. "Okay." Jade said. "Hey, can you explain to me what Odd Squad is?" Beck asked.

"Sure. Odd Squad is a stupid place where idiot kids learn math, be obnoxious, and make gadgets." Jade said.

Tori walked over. "Hey. Leave him alone." She said. "I'm just telling Beck the truth about this squad that Cat's gonna take him to." Jade said.

"I thought you liked it the last time." Tori said. "I only said that to make Cat happy. I really hated the place. When we left, I wanted to slap her." Jade said.

"Great. Well bye." Beck said and he walked away. Andre and Robbie walked over. "Hey Tori. Hey Jade." Robbie said. "Dude, try to be cool." Andre said. "I thought it was cool." Robbie said. "Wrong. Hey ladies." Andre said in a cool voice.

"Okay that is not cool." Robbie said. "You think you could do better?" Andre asked.

"Stop playing around." Tori said. "Sorry." Andre said. "So what's up?" Robbie asked. "Cat's taking Beck to Odd Squad." Jade said. "Why?" Andre asked.

"He never went there before." Tori said. "Oh. Well I hope he likes it." Robbie said. "Oh Beck doesn't like that stuff man. He only did it so Cat won't feel bad." Rex said. "Well unlike you and Jade, Beck's nice." Tori said.

"Yeah whatever." Jade said and she walked away. The bell rang and everyone went to class.

At three pm, Cat went to her locker and texted Beck. Beck walked out of his last class and walked to Cat.

"Hey." Beck said. "Hi Beck. Ready?" Cat asked. "Yeah." Beck said. "I'll drive." Cat said. "Sure." Beck said.

Cat and Beck went into Cat's car and they drove away from the school.

At the squad, Ms. O was working on files. Oona ran in and she showed Ms. O her new phone. "Ms. O!" Oona screamed. "What? Is there a problem?" Ms. O asked. "No. Check out this new phone." Oona said.

"Oona! Focus!" Ms. O yelled. "Sorry." Oona said. "Back to work!" Ms. O yelled. "Wait. There's something else that I have to tell you." Oona said. "What?" Ms. O asked.

"Remember my friend Cat? Well she's coming over today with someone." Oona said. "Who? Jade?" Ms. O asked. "No. Someone else." Oona said.

"Robbie." Ms. O said. "No." Oona said. "Andre." Ms. O said. Oona shook her head. "Tori." Ms. O said. "Nope." Oona said. "Trina?" Ms. O asked. "Not even close." Oona said.

"Oona, I don't have time for this." Ms. O said. "Tell me who Cat's bringing."

"Okay. His name is Beck." Oona said. "Hmm. I've never met him." Ms. O said. "Neither have I." Oona said. "Is he nice?" Ms. O asked. "I don't know. I haven't met him." Oona said.

Cat and Beck walked in. "Wow. I've never thought that a place for kids would look like this." Beck said. "Yeah. Normally if it's a place for kids, there are toys." Cat said. Beck nodded.

"But not here. Also each kid wears a uniform and they all start with the letter O." Cat said. "I see. Now is this like school for them?" Beck asked. "I'm not sure. I think it's a job. They don't go to school. They go straight to work." Cat said.

"What is the age limit?" Beck asked. "That I don't know. I think it's from nine months to thirteen years old." Cat said.

Oona saw Cat and her friend Beck. "They're here!" Oona yelled. "Oona!" Ms. O yelled. "Sorry." Oona said.

Oona and Ms. O walked out of Ms. O's office.

"Hello. I'm Ms. O." Ms. O said. "And I'm Oona." Oona said. "Hi. Remember me? I'm Cat. We met last year." Cat said.

"Oh yeah. I remember you." Ms. O said. "Oona kept talking about you since you left."

"She has? Cool." Cat said. Oona and Ms. O looked at Beck. "So, who's this handsome guy?" Oona asked. "Oh this is Beck." Cat said. "Hi." Beck said. Oona shook his hand. "You're so good looking." Oona said.

"Thanks." Beck said. "I wouldn't do that. Remember Jade?" Cat asked. "Yeah." Oona said. "Beck is Jade's boyfriend." Cat said. "Oh." Oona said. "Hey, where's everyone else?"

"They didn't want to come." Cat said. "And what do you do here? Jade sort of told me, but it wasn't clear." Beck said.

"Well Beck, Odd Squad is an organization that is run by kids." Ms. O said. "And stop things that are strange, weird, and odd."

"Okay." Beck said. "So, what do you think of this place?" Cat asked. "What did Jade think of this?" Beck asked. "She hated it." Cat said.

Andre, Robbie, Jade, and Tori were in the Black Box Theatre. "I can't believe what Cat just did." Tori said.

"She invited Beck to go to that weird squad." Andre said. "I thought it was an odd squad." Rex said. "It is an odd squad." Robbie said. "I kind of feel bad that I didn't go with her."

"But I thought you said you didn't want to go." Andre said. "No. I wanted to, but you said that we were busy." Robbie said. "Well Rex and I didn't want to go." Andre said.

"How about I call Cat and see what's going on." Tori said. "That sounds cool." Robbie said. "Let's do it." Andre said. Tori took out her pear phone and called Cat.

Cat and Beck were with Oona in the Odd Squad lab. "So these are the gadgets that I use." Oona said. "So they're like weapons." Beck said. "Not really." Oona said.

Cat's phone rang. Ms. O popped up. "No real phones in here!" She yelled. "Oops. Sorry. I've got to take this." Cat said and she answered her phone. "Hello."

"You know, you don't have to be so mean like that." Beck said. "And you remind me of Jade."

"Oh? How so?" Ms. O asked. "She can yell too." Beck said.

"Hi Tori." Cat said. "So, what's going on with you and Beck? It's not a date right? Cause Jade will kill you." Tori said. "No. It's not a date. Beck and I are in the Odd Squad lab. Oona's teaching him about gadgets." Cat said.

"Gadgets?" Andre asked. "Oh yeah. That's their weapons. They all end with inator." Robbie said. Rex yawned.

"So what's up?" Cat asked. "When are you going to head back to school and rehearse for Sikowitz's play?" Tori asked. "Yeah. We need Beck for the play." Andre said.

"Oh that. We'll be back soon." Cat said. "Hi Cat." Robbie said. "Hi Robbie." Cat said. "Okay Cat. I'm going to hang up." Tori said. "Bye Tori." Cat said. Tori hung up.

"Well, it's been nice meeting you and finding out what Cat and the rest of the team did one year ago, but it's time to go." Beck said. "Ready?"

"Okay." Cat said. "Bye Cat, bye Beck." Oona said. She said Beck's name in a romantic tone.

"Bye. Let's go." Beck said. He and Cat left the squad.
