Believer- lea Michele
Jamie looked around at the snow expecting to see his favorite winter sprite but couldn't find him. Jamie sighed sadly looking down at his feet. He walked to jacks lake hoping jack would be there but once more was disappointed. Jamie sighed and opened his mouth.
"I'm screaming at the sun
I'm scratching out my eyes
Trying to cut my way
Through this jungle of a life
Nothing's going good
Nothing's going right
Another hopeless day
Another sleepless night
Heaven help me get through these demons in my mind
All I know is, I will survive
I'm still a believer
Can nobody tame this raging heart
Yeah, I'm still a dreamer
I'm fighting my way up to the stars
I'm running wild, I'm going out
I'm flying high, I'm screaming out
I'm blowing up, a fire in the sky
I'm still a believer
Can nobody tame this raging heart
And nothing's like you said
And nothing's like we thought
I remember when we were dancing in the dark
And I just gotta thank you from the bottom of my heart
For pouring gasoline and lighting up a spark
Heaven help me get through these demons in my mind
All I know is, I will survive
I'm still a believer
Can nobody tame this raging heart
Yeah, I'm still a dreamer
I'm fighting my way up to the stars
I'm running wild, I'm going out
I'm flying high, I'm screaming out
I'm blowing up, a fire in the sky
I'm still a believer
Can nobody tame this raging heart
I'm coming here to start a riot
I'm coming here to break the silence
Nobody gonna stop me no
Cause I'm on a roll
I'm coming here to take it down
I'm coming here to take this crown
Nobody gonna stop me now
I'm out of control
I'm still a believer
Can nobody tame this raging heart
Yeah, I'm still a dreamer
I'm fighting my way up to the stars
I'm running wild, I'm going out
I'm flying high, I'm screaming out
I'm blowing up, a fire in the sky
I'm still a believer
Can nobody tame this raging heart"
When the song was done Jamie closed his mouth tightly and walked back home. What he didn't know was that the same winter spirit he was looking for had watched him look around for him. He had tears streaming down his face a smile stretching across his face. Jack decided to fly to Jamie's window make it seem like he had been there the entire time. Quickly drying his tears jack flew off and sat on Jamie's window sill waiting for him to come inside.
When he did jack smiled and touched the window spreading frost before the window was flung open and pulled inside. Jack was smothered in a hug and when he was released he found himself gasping for breath. "Jamie when did you get so strong?" He asked bending over trying to regain his breath. Jamie laughed before helping jack up. "Hey buddy how was the summer?" "Horrible, I missed you." "Bud you are twenty years old living in your own house and still you miss me?" Jamie nodded blushing. "Hey you are like my older brother who goes to a college that only lets you come home during the winter of course I missed you." Jack chuckled and gave Jamie a small shove. He left the room and went to the living room sitting down and turning the tv on smiling when Jamie sat next to him. "Y'know I almost didn't come." Jamie looked startled by this. "Why?" "Well you're twenty and still believe and most kids stop believing at thirteen maybe fourteen. I was worried you may have stopped believing in me." Jamie relaxed draping an arm over jacks shoulder pulling him close. "Jack...I'll never stop believing you." Jack sighed and rested his head on Jamie's shoulder.
