Even the dog had stopped fearing him already.
It had only been a few hours since the fluffy little thing was brought to him as a pathetic meal, and now she was settled into his lap calmly as if this were a normal day. She didn't stir when his face shifted from the anger of hearing Angelus pleasuring Dru all morning. He was sure if he could see those big brown doggy eyes that they would hold his without trembling. Hell, she'd probably even lick his cheek.
His fingers felt her fur then, not realizing his face had reverted back.
