Author's Note: I was totally inspired the other night, and I this was what came out of it. Total fluffiness, no point at all, not my best, just for fun :). (actually, I wrote it when I was really upset... how do you think that worked out? LOL) I hope you like it :). Please review! :D

At Sunset
------------
The two of them sat alone together, in the quiet of the late afternoon sun on that world. The larger of them was leaning against a tree, while his small wife leaned against him.
"Do you believe how far we have come in such a short time?" she asked him, leaning against his strong chest. She felt him laugh into her hair.
"A short time?"
"It has barely been a year," she told him. "And yet look at us, where we are... Did you ever believe that this was what would come of our first meeting?"
"Well... I imagined it; but then I didn't think that anything so wonderful could ever be reality for me." he paused, laughing softly again. "I'm glad that I was wrong."
"Me too." She smiled, snuggling contentedly into his warmth. For a while they were content to stay that way, simply wrapped up in themselves, with none of the fears that had marked their pasts.
"We really should be getting back," he said eventually, shifting behind her. "It's getting late, and you know how important it is that you rest..."
"I know," she said, rolling her eyes at his worry. "But at least let us stay and watch the sunset..."
"The doctor said-"
"I know," she said again. "But right now, I am fine. This baby will not be coming for a while yet. Please stay here with me." She heard him sigh in resignation.
"Alright," he agreed. "Just promise me that you'll let me know if you get tired, or cold..."
"Ronon!" her reprimand was soft, but firm. "I am fine. Do not worry for me; let yourself enjoy the beauty here." She twisted her head so that she could look into his eyes, and held his gaze until he nodded.
"Okay," he whispered. "Though I don't see how anything else can be called "beautiful" while you're here." She felt herself warm at the compliment, but she grinned and looked away.
"Try," she urged him. "It might surprise you how different beauties compliment each other." She felt his arms tighten around her shoulders, and his chin rested on her head, and together, they watched the sun set.
"Teyla," he whispered, as their world was bathed in a fiery golden glow, "you're still more beautiful than this... I love you." He kissed her hair, and the reddish-orange disk that was the sun slipped beneath the horizon.
Fin.
