Fixing A Broken Heart
Chapter one: my story
Love, hatred, pain and loss were all things I could relate to. Through everything that has happened in my life I have got hurt, lied to and made to feel like I didn't belong. But I thought things here would be different. That I would have a purpose in my life. That I would be that hero everyone needed. To have someone love me for whom I am instead of insults under their breaths as I pass by. Them laughing behind my back because I got rejected. Rejected by the only the woman that I will ever love.
I will remember that night forever. My salty tears of pain rolling down my cheeks. My heart beating so fast and hard in my chest I thought it would break loose at any moment. My body shaking with a rage I never thought I had. Watching our friendship burn before my eyes as the photos were engulfed by flames. Her words still fresh in my mind. The words that brought me to this.
I tried to rid her from my thoughts and my heart but it was maddened. She just won't go away and leave me be. Love is not a game neither is it something you can just turn on and off just like that. It takes years to get over a broken heart. But even then you will never truly recover as scar will remain across your heart where it was once broken. A reminder of a lesson that should have been learned long ago. A lesson in love. Not everybody wins in fact more lose then win. But there is a saying out there that there's plenty more fish in the sea. This one thing I came to learn.
I never expected it but it hit me and left me breathless the moment she walked into my life. My world turned upside down once again but this time it stayed like this forever. She loves me for who I am and for what she saw in my heart. I think that will never change either. I love everything about her. Her eyes, her hair, her laugh, her smile and the list carries on.
