"Oh okay, bye hiccups! Nice of you to visit! I'd love to stop but I can't!" *Hic*
"Are you sick? You've had them since before we left school! That was like, two hours ago!" Both girl's nerves were obviously a little rattled and they were sort of on edge.
"I'm well aware of that, Cupcake!" *Hic*
"Did you try holding your breath?"
"Yah." *Hic*
"Did you drink a glass of water without breathing?"
"Yup" *Hic*
"What about drinking water while standing on your head?"
"Huh?" *Hic* Carly's eye twitched as Sam hiccuped.
"Go stand on your head against that wall. I'll get you some water. And a straw" *Hic* Sam shrugged and turned upside down.
"Well that didn't work!" Carly screamed in frustration.
"No chiz!" Sam screamed back. They were both soaked.
"I can't even understand how one glass of water and a straw did all of this!" *Hic*
"Well, it was one crazy fall." Sam smiled until a hiccup shook her up.
"Theres gotta be something we can do! I don't want to kick you out Sam, but I might kill you if I don't" Carly flopped onto the sofa while she clutched her head in her clawed hands.
"Sorry, Cupcake." Sam sat next to Carly. *Hic*

"Hey I have an idea!" Carly shouted with a hint of insanity. With that, she grabbed Sam's face and kissed her. Carly kissed her hard. The girl's breathing started to get more out of sync with the passing seconds until Sam pulled back.
"That's some idea, Cupcake." Sam sat back with a small grin.
"Well, did it work? Do you feel better?"
"I think you sucked the hiccup right out of my face." Carly giggled and smiled sweetly.
"But Carls, what if they come back?" Sam said with a fake innocent voice while making a sad face and fluttering her eyelashes. Getting the hint, Carly grinned coyly.
"Well then we'll just have to make sure they don't." Carly crawled over to Sam and kissed her again, this time more slowly and softly. Sam giggled from under Carly's lips. Carly backed away and looked at Sam's smile with confusion.
"Why are you laughing? Did I do something wrong?" Carly spoke quickly and sounded panicked. Sam just giggled more and took Carly's face in her hands. She squished her face together and Carly raised an eyebrow as Sam smiled sweetly.
"Ya didn't do anything wrong." Sam said as she poked Carly's nose and leaned back.
"I was just thinking it was funny that you finally did it."
"Huh?"
"I was just wondering when you were finally going kiss me. Or at least admit that you like me." Carly stared slack jawed. Sam reached out and pushed her jaw up to close her mouth.
"You knew? I didn't even know!"
"You're not that hard to figure out." Carly looked like she might be insulted, but not exactly.
"Aww, come on Cupcake, just kiss me summore." Carly giggled in happy defeat as Sam toyed with her brown hair.
"Okay, I think I will!" Carly leaned in to kiss Sam but found that her excitement made her catch her own set of...

Sam giggled and reached up behind Carly's neck.
"Here let me help you with that." And with that, Sam kissed Carly and Carly kissed Sam.
