Ebony by:Arwen Sauron
Thin strands of ebony hair danced gracefully in the wind.
The ringing was becoming unbearable, but the cheering excited her, nonetheless.
Underneath navy robes her heart quickened with every moment stood waiting.
The grass appeared as if an emerald ocean and the forest looked even less inviting than normal as the thick brush of trees stooped, ready to consume anything that walked amidst it.
A light mist felt of small bullets against her skin.
She beamed for the moment she would see him.
It was soon.
He would emerge, carrying his prize.
Cradling it in his arms, for he had won.
He would tell her he loved her, for she loved him.
But to find him being cradled, for he had lost.
To find that he didn't love her, for he couldn't speak.
She knew nothing.
And just as it all began, it ended.
Just as she once knew him, she did no longer.
Just as he once was Cedric Diggory, he was a memory.
And just as ebony had once danced with the wind, it lay lifeless with the rain.

A/N: I don't expect everyone to understand this so don't ask. The more intellectual ones will...But read it a couple more times very carefully and if you still don't get it, well then I pity you.
