*Up for something to give yourself a pseudo-heart attack? Well, you've come to the right place! It's just something I thought of, and while it is very short, even by my standards, it's short, sweet, and to the point. Anyway, enjoy!*
Surely, you've seen him? At night, in the woods, on the news, even? What about your dreams? Has he invaded your dreams, too? You'll know if he's in your dreams, he will be the most vivid and stand out from the rest of the dream scenery around you. Yes, that's right. I'm talking about Slenderman. He looks different, yet the same, to everyone. Very tall, eight feet or more. He is well-dressed, always in a business suit, or a tuxedo, call it what you will. His skin is paler than snow. He can even grow tentacles, or tendrils or appendages or extra arms, from his back. Worst of all, he has no face. No facial features, not even ears or hair on the top of his head. Every story is different. But I know one thing for sure.
He is terrifying.
Don't bother trying to convince yourself out of being afraid. It's in our nature, as humans. We are afraid of things we don't understand. We also hate things we don't understand. If we don't understand it, we want to wipe it from the face of the Earth. But there are those, who, though they do not understand, accept this terrifying being's presence in our world. Though we cannot understand, and likely never will, there are those who believe that Slenderman does exist. There are always those who deny his existence, simply because they do not understand.
Truly, how can one fathom such a thing?
You can't, but you can try to accept him even if you are afraid. Showing fear in his presence is natural, don't try to make a brave face. Of course, while he may kill you, it might perhaps be the opposite, and he may let you live. Most who enter his forest or woods are never found again. Some escape alive.
Now of course, the focus isn't always on him, though for some people it is.
Sometimes, the attention falls to another scary thing, a group of supernatural serial killers, all with their own unique way of killing and all with their own unique personalities, this much we know. I am only saying what we already know. So why?
Because... there is a theory... a collective belief theory. If enough people believe in Slenderman and these killers...
Yes, they could become real. And... I have seen glimpses of the Tall Man. Do not think he does not exist, do not scoff at those that say he does not exist... because he does.
He is all. Too. Real.
*Call me crazy! Go ahead! Ha, gotcha didn't I? But the theory is true. We few Slenderman fans left could end up turning him real. Scary huh? They don't call it horror for nothing! Well, that's all for now! Bye!*
