AN: Hello, people of fanfiction! Welcome to my very first, and somwhat not the best serious Fanfiction! I have written other things before, but that was all just mainly rhamdom and was just there. I'll be posting roughly once every two months, yes, that is long, because, well, I dont have all the time in the world! Just to clarify some points:

Yes, most charaters are not canon, expesally in the pjo fandom, because most charaters dont exist yet in the current series. not saying that they wont, they just currently dont exist yet.

Names are made up.

feedback is welcome

All mostly everything belongs to Rick Riodran and JK Rowling

Hi. My name is Charles Luke Jackson. Yes, yes, I know what your thinking. My parents are the famous Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson! Whoo! Oh, my gods! GASP! Cue unnecessary sarcasm!

Okay. Enough of that.

Growing up, mom and dad would tell me stories of the original Charles and Luke. The two bravest people they ever came across, they'd tell me.

Charles Beckendorf and Luke Castellan.

Beckendorf sacrificed himself while 'saving your father's sorry little butt' and was the first ever person to see my parent's relationships. (Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!)

Luke, he and Lady Thalia (though we never called her that) and were the ones to take care of my mother when she ran away from home.

They were both heroes.

I mean, really. We are pretty familiar with Greek and Roman mythology because unlike the other children of the gods, a satyr didn't find us in a school and brought us here at the age of twelve or something. Nooo. Right after the moment we learned how to walk, we were brought to Camp to start our training by our parents. Now, notice I'm saying 'we' and not 'I'. Why? Well. I really probably should be introducing the others.

oOo

Reya and I were on our way to Camp Half-Blood to meet up with Jase and Emily. They were visiting from Camp Jupiter, and we haven't seen them since winter break, with school and all. Mine and Reya's families also went on a two-ish month-long vacation to Greece and Rome, so this was our first time to Camp this summer.

Most of us are named after people who died. Piper always said it was a way to honour their memory. They died a hero's death, and they deserved to be remembered.

Honestly, I'm not surprised our parents named us after their dead friends, I mean, we're the children of the seven.

oOo

Me, Charlie, am the oldest of all of us. I do have control over water and earthquakes and all that stuff passed on from my dad. Not so much of my mom's brains, as I said before, I take after my dad. That would explain the nickname 'Junior Seaweed Brain' and 'Grey Goldfish' (grey goldfish because my eyes are grey and apparently, my face resembles a goldfish). People always say I'm a spitting image of my father with my raven locks and strong jawline. The only resemblance of my mom is my eyes. A striking grey, seeming to change with my every emotion. Stormy grey, people would say.

Reya comes next. Reya is an entire six months younger than me, and her full name is Reyna Thalice Grace. Reyna and Lady Thalia both died. Not at the same time, though. Reyna went missing a month before Lady Thalia, then two weeks later Thalia disappears, both their bodies show up at Camp. Theories were made, multiple, in fact, but they all were dismissed. Too many plot holes, Clarisse said. Fifteen years later, still the same results. No one knows what happened. Well, maybe Lupa, but she won't talk about it.

Reya and I basically grew up together. After losing her dad, she and Piper both stayed with my family, and it's been that way since. Before Lady Thalia's death, Reya's mom wanted her name to be Reyna Alice. But Lady Thalia died, and she wanted to honour her friend, so she mashed Alice and Thalia together, and BOOM! She made Thalice. She can fly. And charmspeak. And— you know what? Just don't get on her bad side. She's really pretty, with these multicoloured eyes, and golden blond hair… but don't you dare tell her said that!

Next is Jase. Jason Samuel Valdez, named after Reya's father, aka Jases fathers best friend, and Emily's mother's first boyfriend. He's 14 and has these brown eyes, dark hair and somewhat tan skin. He's, like, immortal being, due to his dad being a demigod and his mother being a Titan. That dude is a living bonfire. Four years back, he set the forest on fire at 3 in the morning, and Chiron had to call Percy and me to deal with it. Yeah. That's how big the fire was. He's totally in love with Emily, even though he would never admit it.

And that brings me to Emily. She's also 14, her full name Emily Marie Zhang, and that girl has a HUGE attitude. Her poofy black hair, pale-ish skin and golden eyes give her the appearance that she can kill you. That is until you see how short she is. And also don't tell her I said that. She can shapeshift into any living being, and let me tell you, it's creepy. She accidentally turned into Reya once. One Reya running around was more than enough. Two? Forget it. She has limited control over gems and underground though; her sister is better in that field. Instead, it's the mist at her command. Again, you do not want to find yourself at the wrong end of her dagger.

I've also got a sister, Zoë Andromada Jackson. She's named after Zoe Nightshade, the Huntress and, this may surprise you, Andromeda, a constellation. When we were little, we used to asked them about her second name, and all our parents would do is look at us sadly and say; 'Bob wanted to say hello to the stars'. I still don't understand it. If I looked like my dad, Zo looks like our mom. She has curly blond hair that fall to her shoulders, most of the time tied back in a ponytail. She's four years younger than me, with bright sea green eyes, matching my dad's perfectly. Strangely enough, she's not dyslexic, unlike me, who is severely dyslexic. (In English, at least.) She's got my moms brains and battle sense. She's got limited control over water, but can talk to sea creatures and has protection in water and all that. Her home turf if the sea, but she just can't control it. The thing she has that reflects our dad the most is her sass. That child can sass her way out of any situation.

The youngest Jackson kid is Theodore Nolan Jackson. I feel like he got the most complicated name out of all of us. See, Theodore means 'gift', or 'god', (ironic, I know) while Nolan means 'champion'. My lil' bro is, special, to say at least. From a young age, he started displaying signs of charmspeak. Yes, you read right. Charmspeak. According to mom, Aphrodite blessed Theo as a baby, making him possibly the most powerful second generation demigod around. How did this happen? Well, apparently, a bunch of their friends entered my parents for 'The Cutest Couple Game Show,' and it was supposed to be a huge laugh for mom's birthday, but surprisingly, they won! And that somehow caught Aphrodite's attention, and she blessed them with another child. Is it strange? Yes. Do we question it? No. Why? They're gods, it's simpler to just not ask. He's really smart, can talk to horses and fishes and owls and all that, and even taught himself Spanish, Mandarin and Italian. He hasn't shown any water powers yet, but hey. He might. He has windswept brown hair and sea green eyes, with a speck of grey within them. Yeah. For an eight-year-old, he is crazy powerful.

Emily also has a sister, Lee. Leonie Esperanza Zhang, named after Leo and his mother. Lee's six, and she is literally a miniature version of Emily. No kidding. Poofy hair? Yep. Scary yet innocent golden eyes? Yep. Midget size? Definitely yep. Like I said before, Lee's better with the gems and underground stuff. She can shapeshift, but can't do as complicated mist magic as Emily can.

Okay, back on topic. As the sun set, the twisting roads of the highway cleared, and Camp Half-Blood emerged in the distance.

"It's good to be back," Reya spoke up on my left. She was sitting next to me in my family's Toyota, my dad at the wheel.

"It sure is. You know, kids, this is where I meet my wise girl," Dad said.

I rolled my eyes. I'm going to bet that every single demigod alive knows my father's name. And story. And legacy. And everything else about him. Well, maybe not the fact that when my younger sister was 4 and developed a massive fear for spiders, (even worse than moms) my dad spent 5 hours killing every single spider within a hundred-mile radius. And that he carried around a frying pan for the rest of the week.

"Yes, we know, Seaweed Brain." Mom said in the passenger seat, turning to face us. "Charlie, Reya, we aren't staying this time. Say hello to Jase and Emily for me, alright?"

"Of course, Mrs. Chase. Hopefully, water boy here won't blow any more toilets." Reya smirked my way.

"Oh yeah, Lighting McQueen? Hopefully, you don't fry the Zeus Cabin again," I shot back.

"Setting things on fire isn't exactly my thing. It's Jase's."

"Right. You just skip the fire and go straight to the ashes."

"Says you. How many times have you flooded your cabin?"

"Too many." I grinned. Reya laughed, causing my mom to look at me with the I-know-you-like-her-but-don't-want-to-tell-her-just-yet look.

"You two sound just like your mother and I when we were younger," Dad said. Mom smiled.

The car pulled up to the edge of the highway, stopping.

"Have fun." Said my mother.

Reya and I glanced at each other and smiled. We were going to have fun.

"Let's go. I have a feeling this is going to be real… fun." I looked over to mom and dad and choked back a snort. The look on my parent's faces was… interesting, to say at least. Dad looked like he wanted to be apart of whatever scheme we were planning, and mom looked like one of those teachers about to give you a months worth of detention. I decided it was now a good time to get out of the car, for no one, and I mean NO ONE would survive the wrath of Annabeth Chase-Jackson.

"Bye!" I yelled over my shoulder, as I started sprinting towards Thalia's Pine. I was vaguely aware of the duffle bag bouncing on my back, Reya at my heels, for I was going to my favourite place in the entire world, Camp Half-Blood.

oOo

The moment we arrived, we were immediately greeted by Emily running towards us, and, strangely enough, Jase was hanging back. As Emily and Reya launched into a conversation, I couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen. Though I'm pretty sure it's because Jase has some 'brilliant' project idea that's probably going to explode in our faces. (Believe me, it's happened enough times for me to be cautious.)

"Charlie!" a voice called. I turned towards it and sighed. It was Easter Mathews, an Apollo kid. I swear to the gods, that girl has been crushing on me ever since ever, even after my best attempts to show her I'm not interested.

"Uh, hi Easter. I've got somewhere to be, sooo..." I tried to walk away, but she grabbed my arm.

"Charlie, you always have somewhere to be," she said, eyeing me thoughtfully.

"That's because I'm always needed somewhere. Now if you'll excuse me, I-"

"Charlie," she said, batting her eyelashes. Her makeup and jewelry were so heavy, she could have pulled off a Drew. "Would you meet me in your cabin at midnight? I have something that I think you would want to see."

"Easter, please—" I said, desperate to be AWAY from her.

"Hey, Charlie! We're going to be late!" Reya called, already sprinting toward Zeus's fist. Saved! I thought. I step-sided Easter, racing towards our meeting space. (Though I'm pretty sure I could hear Easter scream in frustration. Oh, well. It's Easter.)

oOo

"Well, Mr. Jackson, you finally decided to show up today!" Emily said as playfully shoved me.

"As you all know, tardiness is my superpower," I replied, grinning.

"Speaking of tardiness, where's Jase?" Reya asked.

"Probably Bunker 9. You know how much he likes it there." I grinned.

"Yeah. He can set himself on fire without anyone noticing." Emily muttered, bemused.

"But, no, really guys. Did you notice how still he was standing at Thalia's Pine? Jase is never still." I breathed.

Hopefully, they noticed it too, and wouldn't think I'm crazy.

"Yeah, I did. I thought you guys didn't notice," Emily said. "When I was trying to get his attention right before you guys arrived and, he just, turned around and walked away. And I'm 99.9% sure he noticed me. It was like, somebody was reaching out to him, and he had to obey or something."

"True. But guys, this is Jase we're talking about. He'll come round," Reya shrugged, though it would have been more convincing if it didn't sound like she was trying to convince herself. "Besides, it's Friday. We've got captured the flag."
