CHAPTER ONE
She walked into Woodbury and we all about died. She was like an angel walking into the darkness.
Merle called her blondie, Martinez smiled at her, the Governor took her hand, and I stood there being quiet afriad to say anything.
I just stared quietly as she walked off with the Governor. I didn't say much as I watch their relationship unfold the next few weeks. She smiled, and he kiss her. Everyone assumed they were madly in love. Or atleast lust. Until Andrea told me different.
"Sometimes, after we make love I feel emptiness inside. I would like a lover to leave me feeling satisfied. He is all about what he needs, not want I desire," she whispers to be when I asked about their relationship.
I felt shocked when she disclosed this infomation with me. What was I supposed to so with this?
"Hang in their kid. Your relationship will get better," I said.
She looked me with her blue eyes, annoyed.
"Don't call me kid, and I won't call you dad," she said before walking off.
I knew I had upset her, so I didn't say anything. I figured that I lost my one chance to get to know her. Not that matter. Why would she want me when she had Philip? He was better looking and wasn't so socially awkward. Besides, with that much difference in age it wasn't a question of attraction. What could we possiably have in common?
CHAPTER TWO
I was working in the lab one day with Andrea. She was explaining to be how trying to cure humans was a waste of time. But I could tell something else was on her mind.
"Just say it," I said, touching her face.
"I have something to tell you Milton," she says, taking my hand.
"Let's go outside. Get some fresh air," I said wondering what wanted.
Shes nods, grabbing my hand again. My skin trembles at her touch.
"I have done this before. Dated guys like the Governor. Drinking all the time. Making alot of noise. Pretty much acting like boys," she breathes.
"Her seems to care about you," I whispered.
"I am tired of it. Tired of the imature behavior and the big talk. Tired of men acting like boys," she said looking at me determinded. My eyes went up to her lips. She looked very kissable.
"Philip has done alot to protect us," I said finally.
"No. You've done alot. Merle has done alot. Philip just taken the credit. I see how he is now. And I looked around now...I've made my choice," she breathes.
"What is your choice?" I asked, feeling scared to death. What could this blonde beauty want with me?
"You. I want a man who will take the time to learn what I want. Who will be there for me when I need them," she says, wrapping her arms around me. Looking into to my eyes, face to face. Daring me to kiss her.
"We shouldn't. Philip is my friend and.." I said taking a deep breathe.
"There is no reason we shouldn't act on our feelings," she said, leaning up to kiss me. Our lips meet and I don't have the power to resist her anymore. I take her hand, and we head back to her apartment where I find myself getting lost in her.
CHAPTER THREE
"I can't figure out why Andrea has stopped coming to see me," Philip said to Martinez one night while they were drinking beers.
"I bet she's got a new lover," Martinez smirked.
"Who? She would never go for Merle," Philip said not even thinking I was the one. And I didn't say a word about my relationship with her. I just smiled, holding my head down keeping my secret to myself.
