This my first Fanfic for the Batman Fandom. Hope there will be many more to come.
I do not own any of the characters that appear in this chapter/story. They all belong to DC Comics.
Please enjoy and review! Also, I'm still trying to come up with more awkward moments (of any rating) for Timmy or any character to find themselves in, so feel free to add in your ideas.
Being a member of the Bat-family, Tim Drake could safely say that there were few things that surprised him anymore. Just living in Gotham, let alone fighting crime there, was enough to do that you. But Tim was still fully capable of being taken by surprise…
The Question was an odd and paranoid man, even by their standards, apparently. Tim himself had never had the chance to meet the man face to face, though they'd been in the same room a couple of times. To be honest, Tim had a growing respect for the man. He often drew accurate conclusions faster than he or Batman himself.
So when Red Robin called upon The Question for a consultation concerning a case for the Titans, he was honored to be called to one of the hero's office/homes. Upon entering his eyes were immediately drawn to all of the charts, lists, and maps that lined the wall. When The Question held up a finger to him, the universal sign for 'give me a moment,' Tim had nodded and bided his time looking over the lists closest to him.
The first one he saw was titled, "The Top Ten Best Hero 'Assets'." It was slightly alarming and mildly amusing to note that "Robin #1 – Ass" was the first number on the list. Kory's bust and Black Canary's legs also caught his eye before he decided to move on.
The next list, "The Top Ten Heroes Most Likely to be, Surprisingly, Incredibly Kinky," would probably have been an interesting read had he made it past the first name on the list.
"So, is it a nurture thing?"
Tim's head whipped to the side so hard he nearly hurt himself and looked at the man with his obvious confusion apparent even through the mask. The Question stared at him for a moment and then nodded toward the lists before turning back to his work.
"My sources state that you predecessor would definitely list were there an 'Unsurprisingly' category. So would your and his…preferences be a matter of Batman's influence or life in Gotham?" he asked nonchalantly.
Red Robin twitched beneath the mask, opened his mouth, and then shut with a snap. "I don't believe that I have any such preferences." He stated not a little force calm.
"Yet."
Red Robin closed his eyes slowly and resisted the urge to massage the bridge of his nose.
The use of Com-links never seemed like a better idea.
