Graduation
by Starsinger
This takes place after ChildrenNope, still don't own them.
Kitty sat, the robes, cap, and dress she wore under the robes made this day hot. It had finally arrived, though, the day she had waited for. The speech was long, and she was suddenly glad she had missed this for high school.
She couldn't help but fidget, she was used to doing something, anything, and now all she did was sit and wait. She couldn't help it, she turned around and looked a few rows behind her, Rahne sat there in identical outer dress, just as nervous and excited as she. They both wore the collars that meant that they graduated as Doctors.
They both knew their friends and family sat up in the bleachers, waiting to cheer them on. Reed told them that he'd had a bet going with Moira which of them would graduate first. He told them he would win because Rasputin came before Sinclair. Unfortunately, he would never collect the wager, he pointed out sadly.
Finally, they called the rows up, and Kitty waited still, the curse of having a name so far down the alphabetical list, getting married hadn't improved that situation either. Finally, her row was called and she walked toward the stage, strangely calm on the outside, on the inside was a different story. Her stomach felt like it was doing flip flops. She heard, "Katherine Anne Rasputin." She crossed the stage, waving at her friends before she exited, diploma in hand.
Kitty cheered extremely loud as Rahne took her turn on the stage.

The party at the Baxter Building was no quiet affair. Everyone wanted to help celebrate. Kitty would return to Xavier's to help the institutions, and individuals here in this area of the world. Rahne would return to Scotland, Muir Island was rebuilt, and she would be heading it with the help of some old friends who once worked there.
Kitty hugged her friend, "Well, Dr. Sinclair, how do you feel?"
"Wonderful, Dr. Rasputin, absolutely wonderful."
Might continue this, don't know.
