He's dead because of you.

Harry woke up from a horrible dream with a sole thought in his mind, his eyes darting around the familiar bedroom in the Dursley's home. The teal sheets stuck to him, the sweat that had collected on his forehead now cooling. His dream had been so real, so very vivid. Perhaps that was because it was more of a memory. The dream - well, memory - had haunted him since he'd left Hogwarts - Cedric's limp body flashing across his eyelids every time he closed them. It had felt so real, as if he was still there even after he'd woken up. But each and every time, the teal walls of Dudley's old bedroom brought him back to reality, it was over, he wasn't there anymore. Sighing he plopped back down under the covers and fell back into another restless sleep, trying desperately to ignore the feeling of guilt that weighed heavy on his chest.

He's dead because of you.

He shot up out of bed, pulling the teal duvet off himself and rushing to the window. Harry needed fresh air, feeling oddly claustrophobic in the teal room he'd never thought he'd see again. He'd been safe at Grimmauld Place, the red and gold wallpaper nice and welcoming. Warm and comforting compared to the coldness of the horrid shade of teal. But now Sirius was gone, guilt consuming him at the thought. And so he was back at number four Privet Drive, in the guest bedroom with the freshly painted walls, with the familiar feeling of blame weighing him down. He'd hoped the wind outside his open window would carry his sorrows away with it. It didn't work.

He's dead because of you.

Fred had died protecting him, he thought sullenly as he stared at the teal teacup in front of him. Honing in on the color to try and make the feeling in the pit of his chest go away. Fred, who had been the light of all the Weasley family conversations, who now left an empty seat at the table, one that would never be filled again.

Remus too had died for a cause Harry was promoting, leaving a newborn son with nothing but a teenaged godfather and a single set of grandparents to look after him. Remus, who had been the last father figure Harry had left alive, who had died because of Harry's incapability to protect him. The familiar feeling of guilt settled back into his chest for the fifth time in three days after the war had ended. Even the color teal couldn't snap him out of this now. His mind was echoing only one thought, over, and over, and over again. Never allowing his turmoil to come to an end.

They're all dead because of you.
