"Where is she going?" Cal asked Ben.

"Um... I was told Nevada."

"Why Nevada?"

"Family." Ben said with a shrug.

"Why did she go?"

"Cal.. you know very well that her mother just died. She is having a hard time and can't take the danger anymore."

"The danger?"

"Yes Cal... you're dangerous... you are always getting into trouble. She wants to change the world and she can't do that if she's dead."

"I would never let her get hurt." He said.

"She is on her way to the airport now... and she isn't coming back."

"No. She can't leave." Cal said, "She didn't even talk to me or anything..."

"She's gone... go get her pal." Ben smiled and slapped his back.

Cal stared at him and then made a run for it.

.:.

Gillian sat in her car, tears streaming down her face. She glanced at her GPS ever couple of minutes, assuring herself that she was going to the right way.

She sighed and pulled to a stop, staring at the long line of traffic. She searched through her car, making sure she had all her bags and her passport.

.:.

Cal frantically started the car and began driving - way over the speed limit.

He stared at the line of traffic and punched the wheel causing the horn to beep. "Damnit..." He mumbled, laying his head back and waiting to the traffic to calm down.

.:.

She pulled out all of her bags and made her way into the airport. "Um... Gillian Foster for Nevada." She said to a man at the small counter.

"Alright, put your bags here, empty your pockets and wlak through the metal detetor please."

"Earings." She said when it beeped. He took the wand and swiped over her body and nodded.

"Alright, have a lovely flight." he smiled and slid the bags through the little tunnel.

"Thank you." She returned the smile and made her way to the waiting area.

.:.

Cal finally made it into the parking lot and ran into the airport. He frantically searched the baord with all the flights and times, "5 minutes?" He yelled, he ran up the escalator and through the crowds of people, "C'mon Gillian..." He said, searching through all the people. He threw off his jacket as it began to get hot and threw his head around, hoping to see Gillian.

.:.

She watched as the doors finally opened and the walked into the tunnel.

.:.

Cal finally spotted her and began running, "Sorry sir, you can't go past here without a ticket." He said, placing his hands on Cal's chest and holding him back.

"No I need to get over there." Cal said struggling to get away.

Three more officers came up and grabbed Cal, "Sir... please stop."

"Gillian!" Cal yelled over the comotion of the other people. Cal kicked one guy's knee and punched the other guy in the face. He shrugged out of the hold of the other two officers and ran to Gillian. "Wait!"

"Cal... just go. I am leaving and there is nothing that will change my mind."

He stopped and stared at her as she walked into the tunnel, "I love you Gillian." He said, absolutely sure that she could hear him.

She turned around and looked at him. She walked over and stared at him.

"Please don't leave."

"Why not?"

"This is critical." He whispered, melting under her hands on his chest.

"Oh really?"

"Really." He repeated.

She smiled and shrugged, "Do you really love me Cal?"

"Yes I do and I want to the whole world to know..." He whispered.

"What?"

"I love Gillian Foster!" He yelled, attracting attention fromm people who wanted to get on their plane. Cal gave them a dirty look and raised his eyebrows. He turned to Gillian and smiled, "Whataya say love? Will you stay? I won't be so dangerous."

She laughed and gave him a small kiss on the his lips, "Yes."
