A Trip to the Library
E/O Drabble Challenge – dust (with an abdominal injury in a library for Newspaper Taxis – happy birthday!)

The brothers were in the attic of the small town library, which served as a storage space for old, rarely used and forgotten books. They were surrounded by dust covered shelves, which included some of the personal diaries and business ledgers of the ghost they were currently hunting.
While Sam read through some of them, Dean kept watch, aimlessly walking around until he found himself face to face with her.
He managed to yell out, "Sam!" before the late Mrs. Sherwood sent a book cart hurtling forward, the sharp corner hitting Dean's abdomen, doubling him over with a painful, "Ooomph!"
