Sherlock opened his eyes. He took a whiff of the fresh open air from the afternoon sun. He knew today was a day to make John marry him. He reached in his pocket and stroked the ring.

John woke up as well at the same time. He smiled, feeling special. Sherlock was right next to him - they finished sleeping and banging the night before. They were covered in their love juices.

Sherlock got out of bed and hopped in the shower. He let the water run down on his perfect, shining, smooth skin all the way down to his perfectly chiseled buttocks. After he got comfortable, he took off his clothes. This was his ritual. He carefully placed the ring a few feet off the drain so it wouldn't fall down.

"Mmm, Sherlock? You up yet?" John called out groggily, stroking his washington monument. He was ready for another go.

Sherlock didn't respond. He was playing his games - he wanted John to wonder. John texted him - "buddy, u up yet? lol" - but Sherlock didn't respond to that either. It gave him an essence of mystery. He just looked at the text and grinned. He spent a few more minutes in the shower before drying off and walking out.

"Hey John." Sherlock smiled. "Sherlock. Ey." John smiled, whisking his finger in the air to say "come back to bed".

"I'd rather go out today" Sherlock smiled. Sherlock strolled right out the door - but came back because he forgot to get dressed. He was in such a duzzle today because of his feelings for John. Doh!

"Ehh, forgot your clothes today, eh?" John smiled. His teeth shone and Sherlock could nearly see his reflection in them. His hair wafted through the stale apartment air, freshening it. Sherlock could feel his knees going weak. He grabbed his coat and ran out the door.

Sherlock wondered how he'd ever propose with these nerves of his.
