I'm currently suffering a bad cause of Authors block so I wrote this instead on working on my other fics. I hope my readers would enjoy this sorry piece of an excuse of writing instead of out flat hating it.

Warnings: Implied slash (not all that hard to see really), bad grammar and spelling (you can tell it's unbeta edited).

Disclaimer: I own nothing related to the Covenant, I think I don't even own this plot!

Pairings: one sided Chase/Caleb (for a change).

If there was anything that Chase hated the most it was perfection.

He wasn't so full of himself to believe that he was perfect. No, he had flaws just like anyone else if not even more. This addiction he had was living proof of his imperfection, not to mention his weakness.

And that's way he hated Caleb Danvers with a passion greater than he had for the power.

The way he moved, the way he talked, his looks, his grades, hell even the way he ate was perfect. Caleb was driving him insane maybe more than he already is.

He wanted to punch him so he could destroy that beautiful face, but at the same time he wanted to kiss it. He wanted to rip him to shreds and destroy his will just so he could have the satisfaction of seeing another worthless damned soul. He figured even then he would still be perfect, still be beautiful.

He wanted to make him bleed, make him feel pain. Yet he wanted to fuck him and make him moan in pure pleasure.

Chase was a man obsessed and he knew it.

Sometimes he thought that Caleb acted the way he did to annoy him to no end. Sometimes he thought it was because Caleb wanted the same thing Chase did.

But no matter what Caleb does he does it with perfection and grace. He is the Golden boy after all and Chase is just the black sheep.

Yes it was true that Chase hated perfection but he also craved it. And Caleb Danvers was perfection in it's truest form.

Caleb is his perfect obsession and an addiction worse than the power.

He wanted him- no he needed him like oxygen. Ironically he couldn't have him because you can't have a god. And you can't kill one either.

One day Chase would see Caleb in his knees begging for death, begging for the pain to stop. One day he'll see Caleb underneath him, screaming with want and pleasure.

And that day would be soon.

When that day comes he'll be laughing and smiling in triumph because that would be the day that Caleb Danvers is no longer perfect.

He will finally win.

Please review it'll make me feel better and maybe take me out of my author's block illness!

I won't blame anyone if you don't understand the ending, I just wrote what came to mind. At the time it sounded good in my head but I'm not that sure anymore.
