"Captain" I'm detecting a small vessel on the starboard side"
Captain Janeway sat down in captains chair "on screen lieutenant Kim" her voice was steady and calm. On screen the small vessel appeared, it was Tom's voice that said what everybody was thinking, "Captain… It's the Deltaflyer!"
"Computer, locate the Deltaflyer!"
The computer complied immediately "The Deltaflyer is currently at deck 12"
"Captain I'm scanning the vessel, I'm detecting one weak life sign, Human "
Janeway rose from her seat " Transport to sickbay immediately, Chakotay you have the bridge!"
With large passes she exited the bridge to go to sickbay.
"Who would steal the Deltaflyer?" was the question that rang through her head, "and why did the computer still located the Deltaflyer on board?" She wanted information, and quickly and there was only one way to get it
"Doctor report!"
The doctor was working on the patient scanning her with a tricorder. On the biobed before him laid a young woman, a girl actually. She couldn't be more than 16 years old. Kathryn studied the girl that lay before her, she looked somewhat familiar. She couldn't quit put her finger on it.
"She's unconscious but beside that, I find nothing wrong with her" the doctor answered he studied the information on the computer screen before him. "That's odd…"
Kathryn's head snapped up "what is?"
"I think I found an explanation for the Deltaflyer captain!" The doctor looked pretty proud of himself for finding the answer to this riddle "I think she's not from our time…. In fact I think she's from the future"
Kathryn's head snapped up "what! How do you come to that conclusion doctor?"
The doctor studied her…"Captain, I don't quit know how to say this, but beside the "tranwarp incident" you didn't had any children with lieutenant Paris did you?"
She was starting to lose her temper with "you know I didn't, but what does that have to do with this situation" she looked stern with her captains mask full in place
"You see captain, this girl appears to be your daughter!"
