Sneak Peeks

By: Aubrie1234

Dear Readers, today is my Birthday! So, in celebration, I am going to give you guys sneak peeks of some of my stories. What I've written here can change, however, but it is what I've thought about for later in the stories.

Silver: And we're here as commentary, unfortunately.

Drago: Whenever she finishes one of the stories, we'll comment on it. So, starting off...

Code: Everyone (Rewritten):

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket yelled as they were sent flying.

"Who were they, again?" Sky asked as Tank and Chomp rolled a piece of metal towards the gaping hole, covering it until they could repair it.

"Team Rocket. They'll be back sooner than you think, trust us." Marc said.

#######

2 tries of capturing Pikachu (also demolishing the hole) and 5 days later:

"How many times are we going to have to go through this? And you're sure they aren't on X.A.N.A.'s side?" Martin asked after they had sent Team Rocket flying away once again.

"Until they catch Pikachu. And yes, I'm pretty sure; if they were, they'd try to either capture or kill the rest of us." Erika said.

"Then they're going to become very annoying." Alpha Girl said.

"Aren't they already?" Ruffnut & Tuffnut asked.

Chris shook his head; those blasts were getting stronger every day. He looked to his brother to check on him, but what he saw frightened and angered him. The Krab Martin had been fighting had hit the activation button, deactivating Martin's Creature Power suit, and leaving him defenseless. It had made a diagonal gash on Martin's left arm, also knocking him over, and was raising its leg again to strike; Chris, however, wasn't about to let that happen. He abandoned his battle with the six monsters and raced to his brother.

#######

Martin, for once, was pretty scared; he was injured and he couldn't defend himself, thanks to the Krab. Now, it was about to kill him. He closed his eyes tightly, waiting for the attack. Just as the Krab was about to attack him, a familiar shout rang through the air.

"DON'T YOU DARE HURT MY BROTHER, X.A.N.A.!" a VERY ticked-off Chris roared before tackling the monster, making it land on its back and unable to get up. He wasn't about to stop there; he punched and clawed it, taking out all his anger on the Krab and even ripping out the leg that had almost killed Martin. The others were watching it, dumbstruck, while the other monsters took this as a chance to run away and live to fight once again. The Krab Chris was attacking, however, wasn't so lucky. Chris kept pounding it until Trent and Wolf-Sky had to come over and hold him back. He panted, glaring at what was left of the Krab, which was just a pile of rubble.

"Easy, big guy." Trent said, "I've heard of the saying, 'Beware the nice ones,' but I never thought it would go to you, too."

"It hurt Martin and ALMOST KILLED HIM. I wasn't going to let that happen!" Chris growled, "He's my brother, and I wasn't going to let X.A.N.A. have the satisfaction of killing him."

"Well, you sure are making us rethink about a few things." Wolf-Sky said. Chris soon calmed down and they let him go; he was still glaring at the rubble, though. Martin then came over, holding the gash closed.

"Well, Chris, you sure surprised everyone." he said. Chris nodded, then looked at his wound.

"Are you gonna be ok, Martin?" he asked.

"Yeah. Rex says that it probably won't become a scar, and that you were practically a ball of fury when you attacked the monster." Chris was a bit skeptic about that second part, so he raised an eyebrow.

"Really? He said all that?" Martin chuckled.

"No, just the first part. Wheeler said the second, but anyway," he put a hand on his brother's shoulder worriedly, "Are you gonna be ok?" Chris rolled his eyes and moved Martin's hand off his shoulder.

"Yeah, that was just me going into protective mode. It was worse than what Zach tried to do after he tried to capture me, remember?" Martin nodded.

"Oh boy, do I. The Tortuga was littered with ZachBots after you got through with them." The two chuckled.

Ava was scared after what had happened and the others were helping her calm down, but Drew and Rupert were having a hard time holding back Ryouma. He was so angry his eyes were literally red with rage.

"I won't kill innocents, but the same isn't going to happen to WHOEVER SCARED MY SISTER!" he roared angrily.

"Calm down, Ryouma! We're going to-" Marc tried, but was cut off by Ryouma's death glare, who had stopped struggling for a few seconds.

"Do you think I care about calming down?!" he seethed, "All I want is to get back at whoever hurt Ava!" He then resumed trying to break out his friends' grip. After a bit more coaxing, Ava finally told what happened.

"X.A.N.A. set up a trap while I patrolled my part of the forest. Out of nowhere, a laser from a Tarantula knocked my Fusion Loader out of my hand and it landed several feet away where I couldn't reach it. Then, the Scyphozoa came and grabbed me. I would have been a goner if Cerberumon hadn't forced himself out of the Fusion Loader and chased them off, also destroying the Tarantula." The digimon positioned his head under her hand, where she pet him.

"I wasn't going to let X.A.N.A. get you, no matter what." he said. Ryouma had heard all of it and broke out of Drew's and Rupert's grips, dashing out the door without them even being able to act.

"He's going after X.A.N.A. for sure!" Psychemon said, "He's going to kill X.A.N.A. if the program doesn't get to Ryouma first."

"Then we need to stop X.A.N.A.-" Sora wasn't able to finish because Mikey shook his head and interrupted.

"X.A.N.A.'s not the one we need to worry about. Ryouma will demolish anything in his way to get back at the program for scaring Ava. The one we need to be protecting is X.A.N.A." he explained, "Ryouma won't stop until X.A.N.A. gets its punishment, which means we have even less time to save Ash." Ava stood.

"If I can get to Ryouma before then, I can prevent him from doing much damage." They stared at her.

"I don't mean to offend you, Ava, but how will you be able to calm him? He's so angry he's going to kill X.A.N.A.!" Odd said. She made him back off with a harsh glare.

"He's only this angry because of me. Even if he's angry, he won't hurt me and he'll listen." She then climbed onto Cerberumon's back and they raced out the door after her brother. Psychemon followed as fast as he could, along with some of the others.

#######

Ryouma knew what he was doing, and he was glad. He was going to destroy X.A.N.A. for scaring his sister, and he wasn't going to let any roadblocks stop him; he would also free Ash and the captured bakugan. He soon ran into a clearing with many of X.A.N.A.'s monsters, who had probably been waiting for him. There were five Bloks, seven Krabs, and three Tarantulas. In all, 15 monsters. He growled, extending his claws while they screeched and got ready to attack.

#######

It didn't take long for them to get there, but what they saw was horrific. Monsters were sliced in half, some were ripped apart, and only the Tarantulas were still alive. They cried out in pain, unable to fight the kids just a distance from them; their front arms had been ripped off and they couldn't move much. Cerberumon put them out of their misery by destroying them with his Emerald Blaze attack. They were burnt to crisps and dissipated, unlike the other monsters.

"You weren't kidding when you said he would demolish anything in his way." Courtney said, staring at the wreckage of the monsters. Ulrich went over to investigate the remains of a Blok that had been sliced in half.

"I didn't even know Bloks could be sliced in half..." he muttered, "Their shells are too tough, even for my katanas."

"We need to find him before he does any more damage." Ren said, before they started running after Ryouma once again.

#######

He knew he was almost to X.A.N.A.; the Darklands were overflowing with the feelings of darkness and hopelessness since X.A.N.A. had made his base there. Just like them, he had made an advanced fortress to protect himself from attack, but thanks to the various knowledge Ryouma's friends had, their base was more advanced. He had made it to the outside just as a line of at least 20 Krabs blocked the way, led by Drago and Nemus.

"Well well well, look who it is! Ryouma Mogami the silver-haired sissy!" Drago laughed at his own joke and Ryouma growled lowly. Inside, X.A.N.A. and Ingram were watching.

"I felt what that boy did to my other monsters; Drago shouldn't be doing that." X.A.N.A. muttered.

"Master, either way, he will be defeated. We need to leave." Ingram advised. The AI nodded, then they left, only to leave a few Creepers in the facility keep an eye on things. Outside, Nemus watched Drago taunt Ryouma and noticed the blazing anger in his eyes. He tapped Drago's arm.

"Drago, I think you may have gone too far. Either that, or he was already mad to begin with." he said. Drago glanced at Ryouma and the boy's eyes. His eyes widened and he knew Nemus was right. But, because he was better at reading others than most, he could see other things in the boy's eyes: Ryouma was in an all-out rage, he would stop at nothing to destroy them, and he was ready to murder them. LITERALLY. The bakugan took a step back.

"Nemus, though I usually wouldn't say this, we're as good as dead if we stay in this kid's way any longer." he said. Nemus raised en eyebrow, but before either could do anything, Ryouma attacked. He kicked Drago hard in the chest where his crystal/the Eye was, instantly devirtualizing him (where he appeared with X.A.N.A. and Ingram to recover), then gave Nemus a roundhouse kick to the head, also devirtualizing him. He then turned to the Krabs, who were now experiencing quite a bit of fear of the boy. A few even took a step back, but that didn't stop the silver-haired boy. He pounced on the nearest one and ripped a front leg out, making it unstable. He hopped off as it crashed into the others on its left, taking them all out and leaving the other half to deal with. He then turned to the other half, who then turned around and started to run. They didn't get far and soon all were destroyed.

Ryouma cracked his knuckles and entered the fortress, easily taking down the defenses and door. He found his way to the room where X.A.N.A. resided, but found no one there. He roared loudly, very angry.

"WHERE ARE YOU, X.A.N.A.?! HIDING LIKE A SCARED RABBIT?! I SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED THIS FROM YOU, YOU MONSTER!" he screeched.

"Ryouma!" someone said. He whirled around, but looked surprised at who he saw. It was Ava, and she looked tired.

#######

Earlier, they had seen him easily take down Drago, Nemus, and the monsters; seeing that, Ava decided to go alone. The others opposed, but she gave them another harsh glare.

"He needs me and I am the only one he will listen to. Anyone else I doubt he'll recognize and he will kill them. Let. Me. Do. This." She then returned Cerberumon and left.

#######

"Ava?" he asked, blinking his eyes as some of the red became green. He was still angry, but not as much as before, "You should be back at the fort. What are you doing here?"

"Ryouma, please don't kill X.A.N.A. He still has Ash and the others under his control. If you try and kill him face-to-face, you could... you could..." Ava had tears streaming down her face.

"Ryo, promise you won't-" she couldn't say any more as his eyes suddenly widened and he pushed her onto her back. Several lasers flew over her and she heard her brother cry out in pain.

"RYOUMA!" she screamed, scrambling over to his side. A lot of laser wounds were on his chest and his eyes were closed. She couldn't hear him breathing, so she checked his pulse on both his wrist and his neck; nothing either place. Her shock and fear instantly changed to anger that her brother had been killed protecting her again. She jumped up and whirled to face the attackers, two Creepers on the ground and several on the walls; they backed away fearfully from her glare, which was one of the harshest she had ever given. If her brother's anger was bad, she was worse. A greenish-blue aura surrounded her. Her anger could be felt all around the room, and even outside to some extent.

"I know that feeling, and I've only felt it once before..." Psychemon shivered as they waited for the two.

"Ava's mad, and she's only gotten this mad when ShadowWereGarurumon killed Ryouma. My guess is that something's happened and she's going to take her anger out on whoever hurt him." Jeremy said.

#######

"Creepers..." she said, her voice sounding VERY angry. They squeaked and cowered, very unmonster-like. The ones on the walls were already running away; the two on the floor were frozen in fear while Ava took a step closer.

"This is the SECOND time my brother has been killed, and I hold you responsible for it." A light then erupted from her body and, like a dome, covered the entire facility. It soon then collapsed back into Ava and the aura disappeared. She looked over to her brother and saw him breathing again. She looked around and saw that the entire walls and everything on the ground floor and above in the fort were gone, the Creepers turned to stone.

That will teach X.A.N.A. never to harm my brother again. she thought as the others came forward hesitantly.

"That was the most amazing thing I have ever seen." Wolf-Noah said, slowly walking over, his eyes wide.

"It's also why no one gets her mad or messes with her brother." Airu said.

"Alright, X.A.N.A's gone pretty far to demolish, destroy, pummel, and annihilate us," Rex said, "But we have to keep fighting. Q, Angela, Dak, Sera, and Riq may be our only chance at turning the tides on the program."

"How are we supposed to do it without a headquarters? X.A.N.A. burned down the last one when we were so close to stopping him..." Noah sighed. Terry smiled.

"That may be," he rumbled, "But we can rebuild. We have all the materials we need to build another fort right here." He gestured to the trees behind them.

"...So, basically, we're building a fort out of trees, like in the 1700s?" Cody said.

"Yep."

"Awesome!"

"Matt, you take Gabumon, Tai, Agumon, Kari, Gatomon, T.K., Patamon, Yolei, Hawkmon, Ken, Wormmon, Zoe, and Dakota on patrol while we build." Artemis suggested, "We don't need X.A.N.A. bothering us while we build the fort." The Guardian of Friendship nodded and turned to the others.

"Let's get going, guys." He said. They nodded and digivolved. Soon, WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, Nefertimon, Pegasusmon, Aquilamon, Stingmon, and Zephermon were flying away with Tai, Kari, T.K., Yolei, Ken, and Dakota (she was riding with T.K.).

"Now," Tank said, "Let's get STARTED!" They all cheered, though some didn't, and got to work.

"ASH!" All the wolves except Wheeler and Lin Chung shouted before piling on the unfortunate black wolf.

"Don't scare us like that again!"

"We thought you were a goner!" Similar interjections were made by the other wolves.

"If you guys would just get off me, I could tell you!" Ash said. They did and helped him up as Misty came forward.

*BONK!*

"OW! What was that for, Misty?!" he asked, rubbing his head where the mallet had hit him.

"For one thing, you should have told us what you were doing!"

"If I did, you would have followed me and messed up the whole plan!"

"You would have stayed safe if we had gone with you!"

"Would not!"

"Would too!"

"WOULD NOT!"

"WOULD TOO!" By now, both Ash and Misty were in each other's faces, shouting their heads off with their weapons ready to strike (Misty's mallet and Ash's claws). Everyone sweatdropped and Brock and Gary facepalmed.

"Not again..." Gary moaned.

"At least things have gone back to being semi-normal..." Brock said.

"Do you think it would be safe to try to break them apart?" Kowloon asked.

"Not unless you want a death wish." they said in unison.

"It can't become that bad, can it?" Lin Chung said, daring to go near the two fighting.

"Guys-" He was barely able to get a word in when Ash and Misty directed their angry glares to him.

"STAY OUT OF THIS OR ELSE, LIN CHUNG." they growled before going back to glaring at each other. The harmonic warrior backed away quickly, a fearful look on his face.

"That is why you should never get between those two when they fight." Gary said.

"And it's about to get worse." Brock said.

"How worse?" Koki asked. Suddenly, the two got into a fight, a dust cloud appearing around them while their fists and feet appeared occasionally, their shouts still able to be heard.

"YOU TAKE THAT BACK!"

"NOT UNTIL YOU SAY THAT I HAVE A BETTER SENSE OF DIRECTION!"

"NEVER!" Everyone sweatdropped again. Soon, the dust cloud disappeared and Misty had her left hand on her mallet while her right arm was around Ash's neck. The wolf was lying on his back, his hands trying to get Misty's arm off his neck.

"Say it and I won't skin you alive!" she seethed.

"I said it before and I'll say it again: NEVER!" She then bonked him on the head. This went in a continuous cycle at which many of the spectators sweatdropped.

"Will this ever end?" Scott asked.

"Yeah, but it won't end until they get so mad that they won't even talk to each other or something else." Brock said.

"Which could take a while?" Sonia asked.

"You got it." Gary said. Then, Misty started chasing Ash around with her mallet, yelling something along the lines of: "GET BACK HERE SO I CAN POUND YOU!"

"If she was ever a guardian," Jack said, watching, "Then Pitch would be so scared of her that he wouldn't even think of trying to make kids stop believing."

"Even I have to agree there, mate." Bunny said, also watching. Soon, the two had run out of breath and were resting.

"Let's...continue this...later." Misty suggested.

"Agreed." Ash panted.

"What were even fighting about, anyway?" The wolf shrugged.

"I can't remember." Lots of people and creatures anime-fell.

"All that fighting and they can't even remember what they were fighting about!" Riven moaned, facepalming.

"At least they stopped." Harry said.

"You wouldn't know when to stop if a sign was suddenly shoved in your face with the word 'STOP' on it!" Draco teased, a smirk on his snout.

"I would too!"

"Would not!"

"Would too!" Many facepalmed as the two wolves started fighting.

"Not again..." Wind groaned.

"You still haven't answered our questions, Ash." Wheeler reminded the wolf.

"Yeah, those... Is it alright if I answer them later? I need to rest after taking down X.A.N.A. like I did and running away from Misty..." he yawned. Lin Chung smiled and helped him get to bed while the other wolves (sans Wheeler) separated Harry and Draco.

"LET ME AT HIM! I'LL KILL HIM, I BLOODY WILL!" Harry and Draco both howled as Wolf-Sky, Wolf-Noah, Trent, and Chris pulled them away from each other. Both were flailing their arms at one another, trying to scratch/maul the other.

"No!" all four wolves said as they held back their friends from trying to kill each other.

"Well, guys have to protect girls, don't they?" That comment made everyone freeze, the girls obviously shocked.

"What's that supposed to mean, Ezekiel?" Lady Green asked slowly.

"Well, dad told me that girls needed taking care of, even after I got kicked out of Total Drama all those times, eh?" There was a resounding echo as Tank's tail hit the ground, HARD.

"That DOESN'T MEAN that we need you to take care of us, ZEKE." the dinosaur growled, obviously trying to contain her anger. The boys, except Zeke, started to back away.

"Well, the dinosaurs don't but that can apply to the other girls, too. Like, how Altair can run out of power-" That's as far as the prairie-boy got before the mentioned Mechanical Bakugan pinned him to the ground.

"ALL BOYS EXCEPT EZEKIEL." she seethed, "LEAVE RIGHT NOW BEFORE THINGS GET UGLY." They ran out as quick as they could, leaving the girls, and Zeke, in the lunchroom.

"Has this happened before?" Brandon K. asked, obviously not wanting to face any of the several angry frontier brains who were still in the other room.

"First day, Zeke managed to tick off every girl and get himself voted off. I wouldn't doubt it if he was killed while they pummel him." Cody said.

"...He is so dead." Timmy said, and the others nodded.

There was a giant pounding on the fortress' walls, but they didn't know what was going on. They all went outside and the heroes of Big Green paled at the sight of one of their old enemies:

"TWIN MASTERS?!" Sonia shouted. All the others were surprised and scared at the sight of the villain.

"Wait, you know him?!" Astrid asked.

"We're the creators of chaos, and thanks to X.A.N.A., we've been able to come back to finally destroy you, First Squad!" Twin Masters said, pointing at the assorted group.

"Why can't we ever get a break?" Ash sighed, somehow unsurprised, as he readied to help Big Green fight Twin Masters.

"This is our fight, Ash." Lin Chung said, putting his arm in front of his friend. Ash understood immediately and fell back into the fortress.

"Back inside, guys!" he called, "This is Big Green's fight, not ours!" Everyone agreed and followed him inside (except for Big Green), going to the top of the fort's walls to watch.

"Are you sure they can win this?" Gi asked.

"I believe they can. They're stronger than they look." Rex said.

"Leave our friends alone and back off, Twin Masters!" Mighty Ray said. The giant let out a chuckle.

"I may have underestimated you last time, but there is no reason why I'm not going to hurt your friends after I defeat you!" they said.

"Fat chance!" Alpha Girl said, readying her club. Inside, something else was happening. Myles noticed something on the lower level, so now he was heading that way, along with Beckett. Artemis was the only one who noticed. No one else did as the three descended to the first floor.

"Boys," he asked after they reached the end of the staircase, "Where are you going?"

"I saw something. I don't know what it was." Myles said. Artemis frowned.

"Let me look around. You two stay here." he said. They did as they were told while the genius searched, but came up with nothing. As he was about to turn back to his brothers, he heard something and transformed into Sagittarimon. Before he could do anything else, however, something hit him and sent him flying towards the door, buckling it under the impact and landing outside.

"Artemis!" Holly shouted. With help from Lion King and Husky, he stood and looked back inside, where Opal was with his brothers. She was pointing a Neutrino at them and Ava and her Gaomon were there, too. She was between the twins and the crazy pixie, her hand tightly holding her Fusion Loader.

"Back off, fairy! Twin Masters was bad enough, and I'm not having any of this!" she shouted. Husky then realized something.

"You were a distraction so that she could attack our friends from the inside!" he accused. The giant laughed.

"Correct! We weren't the only ones X.A.N.A. revived!" they said. Artemis and Ryouma didn't even hear the conversation. They were too worried about their siblings to notice.

"Opal," Artemis hissed in a angry voice, "Step away from those three right now and no one will get hurt." The pixie cackled.

"I've died before, Mud Boy! What will a little death do to me if I have the chance to be revived again?" She had a point, but Artemis knew there was a way. He grabbed his digivice, preparing to digivolve. Opal readied and leveled the gun.

"If you digivolve, Artemis," she said, "I'll start this massacre by blasting these three into oblivion." At that, Ryouma had enough and jumped down, right in front of all three of them while giving Opal a murderous glare.

"If you singe even one hair on my sister's or these kids' heads," he growled, "I'll maul you so badly, Opal, that you won't even be recognizable!" The Hunters knew this was true, since Ryouma would do anything for his sister. Chris and Martin were having the same feelings as Artemis and Ryouma were, among others with brothers or sisters, since they could have been the ones in the situation instead. This had now come down to a standstill. Twin Masters on one end, a crazy and insane Opal on the other. But, Helia was thinking about what the giant had said.

"We weren't the only ones X.A.N.A. revived!" Did that mean that there were more enemies waiting for them besides Opal and Twin Masters? Artemis, seeing that Ryouma was protecting them, felt that he could digivolve without the chance that they would get hurt. Opal noticed this and fired. Ryouma flicked away the blast like it was nothing. Though his arm got burned, he didn't feel any pain because of his anger towards the pixie. This deterred the fairy a bit.

"I mean it, Opal. Back. Off." he growled. Artemis had just finished digivolving into HopeSagittarimon and took this as his chance to unarm Opal. He rushed forwards with amazing speed and grace, reaching Opal quickly and grabbing the weapon before pinning down the fairy with one foot and smashing the Neutrino with the other. Ryouma relaxed before noticing his arm was in great pain. Big Green took this as a chance to safely take down Twin Masters without their friends getting hurt. While they battled, some of the others came down to check on their friends. Ava was tending to her brother while Myles and Beckett looked at and praised him in awe.

"Ryouma, are you okay?" Psychemon asked.

"I took an Neutrino blast to the arm. What do you think?"

"No."

"Of course not."

"Thank you for saving us, Mr. Ryouma!" the twins hugged his waist and he smiled.

"It wasn't any trouble, boys."

"Speaking of trouble..." Artemis rumbled, "How did Opal get in here?"

"Remember, this place is only made of wood; there's bound to be a hole here somewhere." Artemis didn't like Courtney's answer.

"Her head's too big! Twin Masters must have helped her inside somehow, without us noticing." Jasmine argued.

"Pixies are known for their oversized heads, so I think you're right." Juliet said.

"Artemis, ease on the pressure a little. We need Opal alive to question her!" Mira said. Artemis did, but not by much; he was still pretty angry.

"Why can't we just kill her anyway? I'd say she deserves it after what she's done!" he growled.

"I agree with you, Artemis, but it makes sense to question Opal and find out how X.A.N.A. revived her." Holly said. He stamped one of his back feet.

"She won't won't answer our questions worth anything! She's crazy! She should have been dead IN THE FIRST PLACE!" he roared, "We've had to kill her TWICE because she was going to kill us, and yet you say that we should question her even though she'll either give us wrong answers or that she ALMOST KILLED MY BROTHERS?!" They all looked at him in shock as he panted from his rant. He then glared at everyone except Ryouma, Ava, and his brothers.

"Question her if you want, I'm going to personally execute her afterwords!" He then left Chris to hold the pixie down while he stomped off, fuming; he didn't even bother to revert to his human self.

"You know, we should play a game. It's gotten a bit boring around here." Duncan said as Sky yawned slightly.

"What kind?" Sceptile asked. Mighty Ray started waving his hand.

"I know! Baseball!" he said.

"Baseball wouldn't be bad right now, actually." Dan said.

"Uh, what's baseball?" Toothless asked, and he spoke for many others who were also confused. Jack winked.

"We'll show you." he said, then they all made their way outside. Big Green already had a ball (thanks to Mighty Ray) and they only need to knock off a strong branch and some bark to get started. The pieces of bark were the plates and the branch was the bat. Drago was up first while Mighty Ray was pitching.

"No one except Lin Chung has hit my Slither Ball. You'll need some real luck, Drago."

"Just throw the ball already. I can hit it." he said. Mighty Ray shrugged before winding up and throwing the ball. Drago missed, but tried again. And again, and again...

#######

"You're out for the 97th time, Drago. I think you've swung enough." Percival deadpanned, finally getting up to drag the dragon away and let someone else have a turn. Many had been sweatdropping at Drago's antics. Up next was Scott, who looked confident.

"You ready to get struck out?" Mighty Ray called.

"I bet I'm a better batter than Drago!" he said before he was also proven wrong. Miserably. Hades, Barf & Belch, and Hydranoid stuck all of their heads into the ground like ostriches just to stop watching the horrible spectacle.

"Why don't we try something else other than Baseball?" Stormfly asked.

"Seems like the best option if Mighty Ray keeps pitching the batters out." Ash said, wincing as the branch was unable to make contact with the ball once again, Scott growing more furious by the second.

#######

"Well, Baseball was a failure. Why don't we try card games next?" Wind suggested after they were all inside. Scott had given up after his 55th strike out, and no one else seemed to want to play. The other bakugan and dragons had to help Hades, Barf & Belch, and Hydranoid get themselves out of the ground.

"That's not actually a bad idea. Who wants to play?" Wolf-Sky asked, and all of the wolves had raised their hands, along with Percival, Hookfang (surprisingly), Jack, and Rex. Ash dug around in his backpack and found a deck of cards, and he suggested Crazy 8s. Most of them didn't know how to play, so he explained. You need to have a deck of fifty-two cards to play (NOT including jacks). You deal out seven cards to everyone playing (in a clockwise direction and the person to your left will play first afterwords; whoever has to deal the cards goes in a clockwise rotation, too) and make sure that no-one else sees your cards. After the deal, you set a card down in the middle and the rest in a pile beside it. What ever is on the card, you need to play it (like, if it's a seven of hearts, you either need to play another seven, or a heart). But the eights can change what type of suit you play (like, if you play down a eight of clovers, you can change it to any number in the suit you chose, such as hearts). Whoever doesn't have the number or the suit has to either draw until they get one or draw the whole deck. If nothing is left of the deck, they can't draw, so they have to say that they can't play. Either whoever has the least cards or no cards at all wins the game. Whoever stays above the set number-of-points-until-they're-out limit (such as three hundred) the longest wins the round. The numbers equal what they represent, while Kings, Queens, and Jacks represent ten points. Aces represent fifteen points.

Alejandro blinked, "That's a lot of rules for a simple card game."

"It isn't once you get the hang of it. So, let's start." Ash said.

#######

Sometime later, Wheeler was yelling at Ash for some reason and the others were continuing to play the game. Ash, Wheeler, and Hookfang were already out, and the dragon had left some time ago.

"What are they even fighting about?" Jack asked, laying down a Queen of Hearts over the last card, which was Lin Chung's Ace of Hearts.

"Wheeler said something about how the game was jinxed, since he kept loosing, and Ash is trying to tell him that it isn't the case; it's just a game of chance." Rex explained calmly, ignoring the one-sided fight and putting down a Queen of Clubs.

"It is, since you made me draw again." Trent growled as he took a card from the deck and laid it on top, which was the 5 of Clubs.

"When's this round, and the fight, going to end?" Chris asked as he took a few cards from the deck as well before laying down a 5 of Diamonds. Rex shrugged.

"Though I am Ash's best friend beside Misty, Pikachu, Gary, and Brock, how should I know?" he said while Wolf-Noah proceeded to take many cards from the deck, growling in frustration. Eventually, he had the whole deck and sighed, "I can't play."

"Too bad, not-so sad." Harry snickered as he laid down the 8 of Spades and continued, "Change to Clubs."

"You're devious Potter, but luckily I had one." Draco said as he laid down the 4 of Clubs, "Anyway, they'll wear themselves out soon enough. It happens between Ash and Misty all the time, even with Harry and I when we fight." the black wolf with the white markings nodded.

"You know, at least he isn't fighting with you as much as he did before, Chris." Percival said as he laid down the 9 of Clubs, only one card left in his hands.

"Well, I'm glad for that." he said as Wolf-Sky put down his 9 of Spades, smirking in semi-triumph (he still had one card left in his paws, like Percival), "It's pretty good not to fight all the time, and I thought it was bad when Martin and I fought."

"Which is never, as far as we've seen." Wolf-Noah said as Lin Chung put down the 2 of Spades, "I've heard sibling are the ones who fight the most, but you two pretty much turn that around."

"I guess so." the dark brown wolf nodded as Jack said he couldn't play.

#######

The winner was Wolf-Noah, and they ranked as follows: Wolf-Noah (1st) – 289, Wolf-Sky (2nd) – 301, Chris (3rd) – 303, Jack (4th) – 308, Percival (5th) – 302, Lin Chung (6th) – 300, Harry (7th) - 304, Draco (8th) - 304 (he and Harry both got the same score at the same time, so this was based on the scored they had before they we out; they also fought about who went out first, though they both did), Trent (9th) – 309 (he was glad he was ninth and had 9 extra points, which made the others rethink what they thought about how bad his 9 obsession was), Rex (10th) – 300, Hookfang (11th) – 305, Ash (12th) – 303, and Wheeler (13th) – 307.

"Well, I had fun, though Ash and Wheeler wouldn't stop fighting." Hookfang said (she had come back a few minutes before Wolf-Noah won).

"You mean the one-sided fight. Ash started ignoring him when it came down to the final five." Wolf-Sky said.

"And he dragged Wheeler off somewhere after the winner was announced, I know."

"By the way, where did they go?" Chris asked. Rex shook his head.

"Knowing Ash as well as I do, you don't wanna know." he said, "There are some things that are better left alone." He then walked away.

"Lin Chung, Draco and I need your help with something." Ash said, coming up to the gray wolf with the whitish-blonde wolf behind him.

"What do you need my help with?" he asked, instantly noticing the sneaky looks on their faces.

"Matchmaking." Draco said.

"What kind...?" he asked uncertainly, leaning away from them. Harry, Sonia, Yaksha, Trent, and some of the TD cast noticed what they were doing and watched.

"Well, basically getting certain pairs of our friends together." Ash continued.

"Such as...?"

"Wheeler and Linka, Tank and Wind, Terry and Paris, and many more!" Draco said. Lin Chung took a step back.

"Why did you choose me? Couldn't you have chosen someone else?" the two grinned.

"For one thing, if we do it or someone else easily recognizable for their actions, everyone will gang up on us while you can do it without much suspicion, since you can get away with most things."Ash said as Draco continued, "And for another, we've got blackmail on you."

"What blackmail?" Now Lin Chung was nervous.

"We've got a special picture that would make a certain black wolf and a girl from Big Green maul you to death." Ash said, holding up a photo. Lin Chung looked and instantly paled.

"Don't you dare!" he roared, a blush instantly crossing his cheeks, "It happened so unexpectedly and it wasn't my fault!"

"Help us do some matchmaking and we won't show it." Draco said.

"Alright, but if you dare to show that picture..." The two ignored Lin Chung's glare and dragged him away by his tail, yelling: "TIME TO MATCHMAKE!" At hearing that, Harry and Trent facepalmed.

"Not again..." they groaned. The others looked at them.

"They've done this before, haven't they?" Duncan asked.

"You have no idea..." Trent moaned.

"They're going to try to get a lot of other people together and, judging by the way they dragged away Lin Chung, they're making him join them in some way." Harry said.

"Probably blackmail; I wouldn't put it past them."

"What's blackmail?" Sonia asked.

"It's stuff people use to make others do what they want, basically." Shawn explained.

"What blackmail are they using, then?" Dave asked.

"Well," Harry mused, "Draco did show me a photo he took one day while Ash was being controlled. Lin Chung was in Gwen's room with her for some reason and-" Gwen held his muzzle shut before he could utter another word.

"It was an accident!" she said, "And don't you dare finish that sentence!" She then stomped away, fuming.

"Whatever that blackmail was, it must be the same thing you were trying to tell us, because I remember Lin Chung yelling something about the picture that was an accident..." Sky said.

"If that's true, then Ash and Draco are going to have to look out for an angry Gwen." Owen said, "She didn't look too happy..."

"Who would?" Harry said, shrugging, as they watched Gwen stomp away while Lin Chung was dragged away by his tail for matchmaking. Yaksha then chittered something.

"What do you mean Valentine's Day is tomorrow?" she asked. That made everyone stiffen.

"They're going to play Cupid and Lin Chung got wrapped up in it... Stupid!" Harry facepalmed, "How did I not see this?!"

"They're dead meat if the others find out." Heather said.

"Oh yeah, they definitely are." Trent said, feeling sorry for Lin Chung but not for the other two.

Trent: That was... interesting, to say the least.

Me: At least you aren't saying bad things about it.

Wolf-Sky: Next up...

Cyber-Digimon:

"Motherboard, I have a favor to ask." Matt said.

"What is it, Matt?"

"You see, my friends from Japan that I've been telling you about, along with my brother... I think they could help us fight against Hacker." Everyone was surprised.

"I know this seems out-of-the-blue, but I know them really well. They're honest and they can keep secrets. They can really help us fight Hacker, especially since there will be more of us." They all thought about it.

"I'd say it's a good idea, but we'd need to meet them first to make sure." Inez said.

"They can be here by tomorrow, maybe even faster." he said.

"That fast?" Digit asked.

"They've got a special way to get here."

"I think they could help. What do you say, Motherboard?" Jackie asked.

"I think they might, but I want you to meet them first." she said, then turned to Digit, "And, if they are helpful, then I'll need your help for something, Digit."

"You can count on me, Motherboard!" the robot bird saluted before the kids left.

Matt: Not much. What's with you on this one?

Me: Two words. Writer's. Block.

Gwen: *wince* Yeah, now THAT is bad.

T.K.: You wince on this one, but not the others?

Gwen: Writer's Block is horrible to some people, like me and Aubrie1234, who love to write. I think you would get it.

Nemus: Before a fight starts, let's continue...

Digimon Explorers: The Quest Continues:

"You know, Drew," Marc said, "The people we've met up with haven't been... normal, to say the least... at all. And what do you think of that Artemis guy? I've got a bad feeling about him, besides the fact that his best friend is a magical creature."

"I'll agree with you there, Marc. That kid is going to be trouble." Drew said.

#######

"Whoa!" Matt shouted in surprise as the ground beneath him and Artemis crumbled away, making them drop to the floor below.

"Matt!" "Artemis!" Gabumon, T.K., and Holly shouted in concern, running over to the hole (along with everyone else) and peering inside.

"We're fine. A few bruises, maybe, but we're fine." Artemis called up to them. They breathed sighs of relief.

"You guys scared us." T.K. said.

"Mikey did say DigiQuartz was soft and brittle; I guess this piece of floor couldn't take anymore weight and collapsed." Izzy said, bending down to examine the edge of the hole. Suddenly, something started to glow a soft yellow from inside the room Artemis and Matt were in, lighting up the darkness.

"I don't think that's the only reason, Izzy..." Matt said as he and Artemis gazed at whatever was glowing.

"What's going on in there?" Yoshi asked, also gazing into the hole.

#######

Artemis saw that four statuettes on large pedestals were the things glowing. One looked human-like while wearing a wolf pelt; Another looked completely like a wolf, except it had human-like qualities; The last two looked like armored dragons, but neither had wings and one seemed to be able to stand on two legs and wore a trench-coat while the other was a quadruped and had a golden hoop around its waist.

What are these? he thought. Suddenly, his phone started to vibrate. He took it out of his pocket and Matt did the same with his digivice. As soon as the two things were out of their pockets, they stopped vibrating and changed right before their eyes. They changed into the same shape, but had different colors. Matt's had brown, blond, and blue coloring while Artemis' had dark blue and black coloring with a slight flame pattern with red, orange, and yellow colors. Based on the digivices the other Digidestined had shown him, he guessed that both devices changed into the D-Tectors belonging to Takuya's group. But, the question was, why did the two of them get D-Tectors? He hadn't even encountered digimon until today. Immediately, the statuettes seemed to feel their presence and turned towards them. He felt Matt flinch beside him, but he seemed to be unperturbed by the action. Then, their digivices started to flash and go crazy.

#######

"Uh... Ah..." Team Rocket stuttered, sweatdropping at all the glares they were getting.

"Let's just make them blast off before they cause any more trouble." Gary suggested. The others who had dealt with Team Rocket before agreed and brought out one pokemon each.

"Thunderbolt/Bubblebeam/Thunder/Hydro Cannon/Aura Sphere/Flamethrower/Shadow Ball/Water Gun/Silver Wind/Dragon Rage/Bullet Seed/Ice Beam/Poison Sting/Solar Beam/Air Cutter/Energy Ball/Blizzard/Leaf Storm/Frenzy Plant!" many commanded, and Team Rocket was sent flying.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" they yelled before all that was left was a twinkle in the sky.

"Will they stay away?" Marc asked, looking at where they had flown off to.

"They'll be back by next week (if not sooner), I promise you that." Max sighed.

"This is why we hate Team Rocket." Ash said and many agreed with him, if not all.

#######

"Did...did I...learn it?" Imperialdramon panted, his hands resting on his knees.

"I'd say so, but we'll test it again." Ash said. The others were on the sidelines, watching in interest.

"I can't believe that a digimon is actually learning a pokemon move. No offense, guys." Anabel said.

"No worries; we didn't think it would be possible, either." Ken said.

Wolf-Noah: This is more than your last one, at least.

Me: Thank you!

Chris: So that's what you guys meant by Imperialdramon learning Seismic Toss...

V-mon: We looked cool and we mastered the move!

Wormmon: Yes, and here's the next story...

Fuse's Advance:

#######

Hero 108:

Talia looked around, surprised at the cleanliness and youthful feeling of the land around her. The world she had been transported to, trying to follow the Newspaper Ninja, was beautiful. It still had its natural beauty and little to no pollution, yet also no technology she knew. It was almost as if she had been transported back in time again, just in a more ancient sense.

She was standing in a grove of trees not far from a village with a castle not far from it, the landscape being that of a savanna.

Where or when am I? she thought, waking out from the trees and looking around. She headed towards the village for answers (she didn't want to go near the castle until she knew where she was and who lived there).

#######

It didn't take her long to find answers; the humans were kind and told her where she was. She found that she was in a village in the Liger Kingdom, a part of many kingdoms (and queendoms) that made up a land known as the Hidden Kingdom; she had heard of this land before, back in the CN Universe world, but it had suddenly disappeared and had never joined the fight, among a few others (it was also otherwise known as the world of Hero 108).

She also learned of the war waging in this world, Animals against Humans because of the trickster called HighRoller, but the heroes of a group known as Big Green fought him and tried to get every animal on their side. Talia knew then what she was going to do and asked where she could find Big Green. They told her, but it was far away. She smiled and said she would get there, one way or another.

#######

She returned to the safety of the trees and called out her KND Hoverboard, hopping on it and heading towards Big Green. She made sure to stay out of sight, since the locals of Liger Kingdom commented that she looked strange and had asked if she wasn't from the Hidden Kingdom. She said that she wasn't, but didn't say where she was from.

#######

It didn't take long to reach the outskirts of the headquarters, but it surprised her. Talia recalled her hoverboard before walking to the edge of the water surrounding the giant, turtle-shaped building. This place would have even given even Dexter, Mandark, and the KND a run for their money in how life-like it was, but that's not why she was here. The front of the shell had a giant door to it (she assumed it was a dock for ships), which started to open. Talia jumped into the foliage around her and hid, not knowing what was going to come out.

A girl, riding a big turtle, came out. On her head was a pink hat-thing with eyes and she wore a gray dress with red pants and black shoes. She had very pale skin, blue lips, and black hair. The turtle took her out to where Talia was and she saw that the turtle was running backwards on tank treads and was actually pretty fast. The girl hopped off and looked around.

"Yaksha, do you think that girl that Lin Chung saw out here is dangerous?" she asked to the air. Amazingly, the hat-thing chittered, moving the long scarf-arms on its sides. Talia blinked in surprise, both at the thing on the girl's head and at how quickly they knew of her presence.

"Well, by his description, she was dressed pretty weirdly. And, she also had pink hair." At that, the thing on her head (who she called Yaksha) chittered at a higher pitch.

"No, I wasn't making fun of you!" the girl retorted, "I was just saying it was weird. You aren't." Yaksha calmed down, but Talia silently fumed. In the CN Universe, her hair color wasn't weird; what was weird was Double D's hat. Not even his best friends knew what was under it... Then, Yaksha hopped off her head and chittered.

"Okay. I'll go left, you go right. We'll meet up back here." the girl said, then they separated. Yaksha was coming Talia's way, and she knew it. She prepared herself not to scare the creature or provoke it, since she didn't want to start a fight. Especially with something who she had no idea how to fight. It eventually reached her and they stared at each other for a few moments.

"Uh, hi?" Talia said, holding up a hand in a waving position. The creature looked at her for a moment before jumping on her head and making itself comfortable, chittering something.

"Okaaay..." she was uneasy about this. The girl also heard the chittering from Yaksha and came over, finding Talia as well.

"Hi?" Talia asked again with uncertainty.

"Yaksha, please get off her head." the girl said. Yaksha crossed its arms and the girl tugged it off, where it pouted when she put it back on her own head.

"Sorry about him. What's your name?"

"Talia. I, uh heard your conversation earlier, and I guess I'm the one you saw." The girl looked her over.

"I'd say so. By the way, I'm Mystique Sonia. Most just call me Sonia, and the one on my head is Yaksha, who you've already met." she said, pointing at the creature, who waved happily at Talia.

"Why are you here, anyway? Come to join Big Green?"

"No, but I do want to talk with your leader. I need to tell them something." Sonia looked at her.

"Just to make sure, are you apart of HighRoller's army?" This appalled Talia.

"Of course not! One of my best friends loves animals a lot, and so do I! He would be really horrified and angry at HighRoller for what he's doing!" she said. The two were surprised at the outburst.

"Well, anyone who hates HighRoller is welcome in Big Green!" Sonia said. She went back to the building while Talia waited, but Yaksha was also with her. He had taken an instant liking to the weird girl and didn't want to leave her, which made Sonia a bit jealous, but she knew that he wouldn't abandon her for another girl. While they waited, Talia talked to him.

"I've never seen a creature like you before, Yaksha." she started, "What are your powers?" He chittered, but she couldn't understand a word he said. She sweatdropped.

"Why don't you just show me?" she asked. He nodded, then started stretching into various things, a few making Talia laugh.

#######

By the time Sonia came back out with her friends and the commander (and an extra turtle for Talia), Talia and Yaksha were playing a game of Simon Says (which she was trying to teach him).

"Simon Says stand on one arm." Talia said, which Yaksha did.

"Stand on your back legs and wave your arms in the air." He did and she laughed.

"No, Yaksha, you're only supposed to do the things that start with 'Simon Says'. Anything else and you're eliminated from the game." she said. He chittered sadly and she picked him up.

"Don't worry; you'll get it next time." He chittered happily as Sonia and the others got to shore. When he saw Sonia, Yaksha got out of Talia's arms and jumped on her head.

"Looks like you had fun!" she said, then turned to her friends, "Guys, this is Talia, the girl who you saw, Lin Chung." The biggest of them, a guy with gray hair, a square helmet, black shoes, brown wristbands, black pants, and a shirt with the left side cut off nodded.

"I remember. You were easy to spot with your strange clothes and pink hair." Talia fumed silently once again, but made no comment.

"What's so special about a girl with pink hair and weird clothes? Yaksha's pink!" a guy with black hair, a red headband, yellow and red eyes, and red and yellow clothes said. Yaksha whacked him over the head and chittered angrily before Talia could (which she wanted to for the guy's behavior).

"Be nice!" Sonia scolded, then turned to Talia and pointed to each of her friends in turn, "Talia, these are my friends Lin Chung, Mighty Ray (the guy in red and yellow), Mr. No Hands (he looked like a bird with a man's head), Jumpy Ghostface (a giant rabbit with a skull-like face), and Commander ApeTrully (he looked like he had a box for a head with a radar dish on top and wore a brown kimono with purple stripes at the ends)."

"Sonia said that you wish to speak with us." ApeTrully said. Talia nodded.

"That's right, and it's very important."

"How...important?" Talia was surprised that Jumpy could talk, but she answered.

"So important that HighRoller, nor anyone else can know." This made them suspicious.

"How do we know we can trust you?" Mr. No Hands asked. Yaksha went to Talia and sat on her head, making chittering noises.

"What do you mean you won't leave Talia if we don't trust her?" Sonia translated. Yaksha huffed and crossed his arms. Talia pulled him off her head.

"Don't be so protective, Yaksha, but what I have to say is very important, so I need your trust as much as you need mine." she said. The creature in her hands chittered.

"Yaksha...trust her." Jumpy translated.

"I do too, because she told me that she wasn't on HighRoller's side very forcefully." Sonia said. Talia sweatdropped.

"It was an accident. I overreacted, and I've done it more than once just because of small things like that, and even over smaller ones." she muttered as the others talked it over.

"Well, I trust her because of Sonia's and Yaksha's judgment." ApeTrully said.

"Jumpy...do too!" the rabbit waved.

"I guess we can trust her." Mighty Ray said. Lin Chung nodded in agreement and Talia hugged Yaksha tightly.

"Thanks! Is there a more private place we could talk this over?" she then asked, letting go of her hug (Yaksha breathed deeply, since he couldn't during the hug; she had a pretty strong grip and strong arms).

"We can talk this over in the meeting room of First Squad." ApeTrully said as the riderless turtle came closer. Talia looked down at it and seemed nervous.

"Do you guys teach lessons on how to ride turtles?" she asked. They all laughed and she did a little, but she was still serious.

#######

After a few tries (and fails), Lin Chung had to help keep her steady as they finally rode towards Big Green (Yaksha was on her head and was holding onto the sides of the turtle's shell to also help her stay on).

"Don't make a single comment about my balance on turtles, Mighty Ray. I'm much better on other modes of transportation." Talia said.

"If you think turtles are hard to ride, you should try armadillos. Now they are not easy to ride." he said.

"I can imagine." she said. They soon reached Big Green and were in the meeting room of First Squad. What they didn't know, however, was that Second Squad was listening in on the other side of one of the doors.

"Now, what's the important news you were going to tell us?" Mr. No Hands asked.

"For one thing, you guys probably know I'm not from around here." All nodded, "Well, I'm not actually from this world."

"You mean that you're from a different world?" Sonia asked. Talia nodded.

"Yeah, and where I come from, your world is just a legend. Your world used to be connected with mine, but it somehow separated and was never heard from again, but that's not what I'm trying to say. I was following a monster and it lead me to this world, but I'm afraid of what it might do here."

"No worries! We can take it down without breaking a sweat!" Mighty Ray said, but Talia told Yaksha (who was still on her head) to bonk him anyway.

"As I was saying, this monster isn't something that can be easily defeated. It's a personal agent of another monster who is trying to take over my world, known as Fuse."

"Fuse?" Lin Chung asked.

"It's absorbed all kinds of other planets before and now it wants to absorb mine, but we've fought back. Just a few weeks ago, however, it got its hands on a transporter and sent three of its monsters to different worlds. Two of my friends, Star Icepunch and Bruce Flamesword, went after the other two monsters while I chased after this one. I've already been to a world and helped rid it of Fuse, but the monster fled here. Now I just want to make sure to get rid of it once and for all before it causes any more damage or manages to get to another world."

"How do we defeat the monster?" Sonia asked.

"First of all, it's not going to be easy. Second, the monsters that Fuse sent are only minions with one job in mind: to create Fusions."

"What Fusions?" Jumpy asked.

"They're like evil versions of people or animals that only listen to Fuse. The way its trying to take over the worlds is that if it can make a Fusion before we can stop the monster, then we won't be able to rid the world of Fuse. In the last world, however, we managed to destroy the monster that started it, which severed Fuse's connection with that world, but not before he created a copy of that monster and transported it to another world, which is how I got here."

"So, if we want to save our world, we'll need to destroy that monster first before we can destroy anything else?" Mr. No Hands asked. Talia nodded.

"How does Fuse create Fusions? He can't just make them out of nothing, can he?" ApeTrully asked. Talia shook her head.

"No, he has to have an item from the person or animal he wants to make a Fusion of. Like, let's say... Mighty Ray's headband. Fuse would need to get it before he could make a Fusion, or an evil copy, of Mighty Ray." They nodded in understanding. Yaksha chittered and Sonia translated.

"What about HighRoller?"

"I don't know, but I don't think he would want to let his world get taken over by an evil from another world, so I would guess he would temporarily join sides with us." Talia said, "But he is your enemy, after all, so you guys should know."

"I think he would because of his and our actions with the Seahorses." Lin Chung said. They all nodded (except Talia, Mr. No Hands, and ApeTrully), knowing what he was talking about. Just then, a liger came in.

"Commander, I'm looking for Husky. Do you know where he is? I have a very important message to tell him." he said.

"He should be in the next room over." ApeTrully said. The liger nodded, then opened one of the porthole-like doors. Out tumbled Second Squad.

"They listened in on us, didn't they?" Talia deadpanned. First Squad nodded, also with deadpans, as the liger went over to Husky and gave him a letter that was in his paw. Husky opened and read it, his eyes growing wide, before standing up.

"Check the humans and ligers for any injuries. I'll go to Liger Castle as soon as I can." This worried Second Squad as the liger nodded and left.

"What did the letter say, Husky?" Alpha Girl asked.

"Talia," Husky said, ignoring Alpha Girl, "Is there a chance Fuse set up a home-base in the world you were in before?" She nodded, knowing what was going on.

"Of course. That letter, it was about Liger Castle getting attacked?" Husky nodded this time.

"By strange creatures made out of green goo and other materials. I'm going to see what's going on right now."

"Then you'll need me. I'm the only one here that's fought Fuse before." The others looked like they wanted to go to, especially Second Squad, but Talia stopped them.

"We'll send for back up if we need it. Until then, Husky and I are going by ourselves." The two then left, taking the tubes down to the turtles.

"Aw man! I really wanted to go and fight!" Mighty Ray pouted.

"And Husky was so worried about his kingdom..." Kowloon said.

"Guess we're going to have to wait for them to come back or send for us." Sonia sighed, but then noticed something.

"Wait, where's Yaksha?" They all looked around (except Lin Chung).

"He was still on Talia's head when they left." Sonia facepalmed.

"I should have taken him off before we talked to her!"

"He fine, Sonia!" Jumpy said.

"I hope you're right, Jumpy..."

#######

It didn't take long for them to get there, and Husky was shocked while Talia looked around in indifference.

"Just like last time... Fuse is getting better at infecting places." she muttered. Every part of the castle was covered in green goo and such, like File Island, and it stretched all the way to the human village.

"My home..." Husky whispered in shock. Talia patted his back.

"We'll get your home back, I promise. And, was there anything special that belongs to you still in there?"

"Plenty of things. But, if Fuse wants to make a Fusion of me, the thing he might need is my ring." Talia looked at him.

"Not the ring in my mouth, but another ring in the Castle. The Liger Kings have always worn a ceremonial ring in their mouths that should never leave Liger Kingdom. I had to leave it behind when I joined Big Green, and I bet that's what Fuse is after to make a Fusion of me." Talia nodded, then hopped off her turtle.

"You head back and get the others. I'll go ahead and check the place out."

"But, you're just a human! A kid, much younger than the other warriors! It's too dangerous, even for you!" he said. Talia shook her head.

"I'll be fine, but I have three warnings: Don't touch green goo, run away from any monsters you see, and if a green light appears beneath you, get out of its way. But, I do have a question."

"Which is?"

"How tough is a liger's skin?"

"So powerful that even Mighty Ray's magical electrical eyeballs can't hurt us. Why?"

"I can't tell you. And Yaksha, you have to go with him." He chittered angrily as she took him off her head and handed him to Husky.

"It's for your own safety. Now go!" she said, a sudden harshness to her voice. The two turtles, Husky, and a struggling Yaksha turned and headed back to Big Green as Talia turned back to the infected Liger Castle. She brought out her hoverboard and headed right towards the castle.

#######

"You let her go by herself?!"

"I tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen!" Husky and Mr. No Hands were arguing now that he finished telling them what he had seen and what happened. Yaksha was back with Sonia, but he refused to sit on her head, worrying about Talia, so he was in her arms.

"Then we need to trust her words and go after her." Lin Chung interrupted, stopping their fighting. They nodded, then they all left, including ApeTrully.

#######

She had just made it past the Barrel Bashers when she heard a roar. She then knew what had happened and headed towards it, giving a sad smile.

After I free this world and defeat that Newspaper Ninja, Fuse, she thought, You are SO going down!

#######

"You weren't kidding when you said it looked awful, Husky..." Archer muttered as they caught sight of Liger Castle.

"I know. I think she was heading towards the Throne Room, but I had turned away by that time, so I don't know."

"A guess from you, Husky, is better than none." Hurricane said, "We might as well go."

"Wait." Husky said, "Before we go in there, she warned me about three things, so the rest of you should know as well." He then told them of Talia's warnings.

"What's so dangerous about a green light?" Mighty Ray asked.

"I hope we don't find out if we don't have to." Mr. No Hands said, "First and Second Squads, deploy!" They then rushed towards the abandoned castle. Just as they were about to get to the entrance, the turtles skidded to a stop and looked fearful.

"Something's wrong. We may have to continue on foot if the turtles are this scared of this place." Lin Chung said. They had to, since the turtles wouldn't go any further. After they all got off their turtles, the amphibians went back several yards, but still in sight without the use of Panther Vision. Before they could move, however, three things shot out from the shadows of the entrance and blocked their way to it. They were Crazy Metal Boy Scouts, though the squads didn't know that.

"Whoa!" Sonia said, all of them backing away quickly to set some distance between themselves and the monsters, "When Talia said monsters, I didn't know she meant things like these!"

"And Talia wants us to avoid these things?!" Kowloon said. The middle monster then shouted something before they all attacked. They missed, but barely. It separated the squads into 3 groups of 4: the first was Lin Chung, Archer, ApeTrully, and Yaksha; the second was Alpha Girl, Hurricane, Jumpy, and Sonia; the last was Kowloon, Mighty Ray, Husky, and Mr. No Hands. One group for each monster.

"Try to keep each other in sight!" Husky commanded, "We don't want them to block us off from each other!" The others nodded, then focused on the monsters.

#######

Lin Chung's group:

Yaksha stayed with ApeTrully, protecting him, as Lin Chung and Archer faced off against the CMBS (short for Crazy Metal Boy Scout).

"On my count, we fire at the same time towards its chest. We should be able to break it." Lin Chung explained. Archer nodded as he grabbed an arrow and strung it.

"One..." The monster came closer, one step at a time.

"Two..." The steps came faster as it sped up.

"Three!" They fired at point-blank range, but it didn't do much. It just made a hole in its skin and sent it backwards some.

"Archer, try and aim your arrows towards the hole we made it its skin. It should do the trick." Lin Chung instructed. Archer nodded and strung two arrows, aiming both towards the opening. He fired, and it worked. The monster cried out before exploding, green goo and materials flying everywhere.

"That was...interesting." Archer said, blinking. They looked over to their friends to see how they were doing and if they needed help.

#######

Alpha Girl's group:

Sonia turned her tongue into its fan mode and tried to blow the CMBS back. It didn't do much, but when Jumpy and Hurricane threw their axes and carrots into it, it amplified their power and made holes in the monster's skin, exposing green goo underneath.

"Keep him busy while I hit those holes you guys made in his skin! It might defeat him!" Alpha Girl said. The others nodded and kept attacking. She ran around the monster, to a side view, and attacked from there. If she had attacked from the front, she would have been caught up in the others attacks; if she had attacked from behind, she wouldn't be able to hit the holes made, which is why she chose the side attack. Her club squarely hit the holes, making the monster shriek before exploding. Sonia retracted her tongue and they looked around at their friends, seeing if they needed their help.

#######

Mr. No Hands' group:

Husky breathed fire at the monster, pushing it back, but not doing anything else to it. He stopped and Mr. No Hands and Kowloon attacked.

How tough is its skin?! It withstood one of my most powerful attacks! Husky thought as they made holes it the monster's skin.

"Mighty Ray! Aim for the holes in its skin with your magical electrical eyeballs! It might defeat it!" Mr. No Hands said. Mighty Ray nodded and, with a small sound of disgust, ate a banana. Lightning fired from his eyeballs and hit the monster, both in the holes and in other places. But, the monster did cry out in pain and explode. They looked around to see if their friends needed their help now.

#######

Together:

"That was easy! What was Talia worrying about so much?" Mighty Ray said after they all noticed they had defeated the monsters at the same time.

"Maybe she thought there were more powerful monsters out here instead." Hurricane said.

"There might be. We need to get going." ApeTrully said. Yaksha was now in his arms as Husky led the way inside. They encountered more monsters and detours on their way towards the Throne Room, but they managed to get there. There were the sounds of battle inside, so they slowly peeked inside. What they saw both surprised and shocked them. A giant green liger was there, fighting Talia. It had red eyes, weird green skin, its mane, claws, snout, and tail tip were a darker green, the tail tip was bigger and shaped like a large drill, and it had the ceremonial ring in its mouth. It roared in a voice similar to Husky's and slashed at Talia, who was wielding a blade and blocked it. They were so engrossed in their battle that they didn't notice the spectators.

"Without your friends, human," the monster roared, "You can never defeat me!"

"Don't count on it, Fusion Husky!" Talia said, "I've fought worse Fusions than you! You're so weak that a Caterplug could beat you!" This made Fusion Husky (as Talia called him) madder, and he breathed a stream of green goo at her instead of fire. She dodged, then brought out a small box. With a few presses on it, her blade changed into a large, metal thing that resembled the tanks.

"If a long-range battle is what you want, it's what you're going to get!" she said, then fired the thing. A blast of some sort came from the front of it and hit Fusion Husky, sending him backwards, but not out. Talia changed her weapon back to her blade, but still had the small box out. She seemed to be pressing some sort of code into it. In a flash of light, something shot out from the box and appeared at her side. It looked like a small person, but floated at her head height, had strange clothes as well, an oversized head, and had two oversized metal hands.

"Let's do this!" it said in a high voice.

"Rex, use your Smackhands attack on Fusion Husky!" Talia ordered.

"AW YEAH!" it said and, with amazing speed, went up to Fusion Husky and gave him an uppercut. Rex then returned to Talia's side as Fusion Husky shook his head, trying to clear it. Talia glanced down at the box for a moment before putting it away.

"Seems he's a Blastons, so I'm going to need your help for the rest of the fight."

"Fine with me!" Rex said, clapping its hands together happily. With the little creature following her, she raced forward and slashed Fusion Husky's chest. He roared and stumbled back, still stunned from the attack before. Talia then switched the blade for her blaster-thing again and seemed to be changing a few settings. Rex seemed surprised and worried.

"Do you think that's going to work?" it asked.

"I have no idea, but if I want the battle to end quickly, I'm going to have to try." she muttered, "You keep an eye out for his Eruption attack." Rex nodded, then looked at the floor around them while glancing at Fusion Husky every-so-often. The weapon hummed quietly as she did her changes and Fusion Husky finally managed to clear his head.

"That's it!" he roared, "I've head enough of this!" Then, a green light shine from under Talia. Rex notified her and she rolled away just in time. A geyser of green goo shot up from where the light had been, almost hitting them. Talia finished modifying her weapon and pointed it at Fusion Husky. He chuckled.

"It didn't do much harm to me before, human," he said, "What harm will it do now?"

"For one thing, I've been changing its settings to let out a powerful blast next time it fires, no safety whatsoever. For another, did you ever consider that as your difference from Husky, that you don't have skin as tough as a liger's?" she said. Fusion Husky then realized what she was going to do. But, too late for him, she fired. It hit him and he exploded. Since he didn't have any extra materials on him except the ring, it was mostly green goo; the ring disappeared in the explosion. Talia reset her weapon before bringing out the small box.

"Thanks for your help, Rex."

"No prob', Talia! That was awesome, what you did! Star's lessons have been paying off, haven't they? By the way, I think some people were watching you fight." Talia looked up to see Rex was right, the two squads watching from behind the door to the Throne Room with surprised and shocked looks on their faces. Talia shook her head and pressed a few things on the box, which switched her weapon to her sword again, and returned Rex.

"Now do you get why I was trying to warn you? This isn't a game." she said, going over to where they were. Yaksha chittered happily before jumping out of ApeTrully's arms and onto Talia's head, hugging her with his arms.

"Good to see you too, Yaksha." she said, patting his head, but then turned back to the others with a serious face.

"Yeah, we get it now..." Kowloon said, "But monsters attacked us on our way here! We couldn't have avoided them if we tried!" Talia sighed.

"I didn't know that at first, which is why I warned you. It seems that Fuse is set on trying to claim this world, even more so than the last one."

Lin Chung: You make it seem as though Fuse's monsters were right here with us.

E-Scope: Ooh! Ooh! You're more like a poet than an artist! It reminds me of the time our neighbor's cat, Simba, was playing with some ink-

Kowloon: All right, E-Scope, I think that's enough out of you. *drags her away*

Me: On to the next story...

The Gray Werewolf:

"Easy, Lin Chung." Alpha Girl said, petting his snout, " Kowloon's on his way to get help. Just hold on." The werewolf moaned.

"I'm trying." he said, "Do you think it's easy with all these injuries?" Just then, Alpha Girl's turtle came up to her, carrying her now wet headscarf.

"Thanks." she said, taking the cloth and rubbing on Lin Chung's covered eye.

"Man, Scarface did a number on you." Alpha Girl said, flinching away when she saw his eye. It wasn't damaged directly, but the skin around it was pretty banged up.

"I'm just lucky to be alive." he muttered, "I didn't want to kill him, but he left me no choice, as you can see."

"He even used your staff against you to try to kill you. I'd say that's a good enough reason for you to kill him." Alpha Girl handed her headscarf back to her turtle.

"Please get it wet again." she asked. It nodded, then rode off. She then went back to petting Lin Chung's snout, but noticed something.

"Your breathing's getting shallow."

"I know." he said, "They need to hurry, because I don't think I can last much longer; I've gotten weak enough as it is." Alpha Girl nodded, then looked around worriedly for Kowloon and/or the others.

Wheeler: You nearly DIED?!

Lin Chung: In the story, yes.

Linka: That is very cheerful for a situation like this, Lin Chung.

Gi: Linka's right, or at least I'm thinking the same thing...

Wind: ANYWAY, let's continue...

Operation Werewolf:

He was shocked. Raven... was the most beautiful girl he had ever met. She stared at him.

"Who are you?" she asked. He was surprised she wasn't afraid.

"I-I'm Marc." he said. Her eyes widened and she shook her head.

"Wait, you're the one who I'm replacing?" Marc snorted.

"You're not replacing me, you're just filling in. And, as you can see," he gestured to himself, "It's not like I can go out without people calling the government."

"Don't you mean the army?"

"The call has to go through the government first before it's approved to be very urgent and they send in the army, navy, air force-" Raven put up her hands.

"Okay okay, Mr. Smartypants. I've had enough boring lectures already." Marc rolled his eyes, "Besides, what are you doing out here?"

"The thing is, I've kinda got insomnia after I became this thing... So, without Jerry's consent, I've decided to sneak out here so I won't be bored or spend half the night trying to get to sleep." She laughed.

"My, what a bad boy you are! And don't worry, I won't tell. Your report said that you were very smart and was good with machines. Also the smartest one of your team, which is made of you and your siblings. Tony's the smallest and youngest, Megan is the only girl and your fraternal twin, you're the smartest, and Lee is the strongest, the tallest, and the eldest." Marc raised an eyebrow.

"You seem to know a lot about us. My question is, what are you doing here?" She blushed.

"I really love to draw, so I come out here at night to get some inspiration." Marc nodded and hopped down.

"What do you draw?" He sat down beside her and looked at her sketchbook, which was in her hands, along with a pencil.

"I like to draw lots of things, but I love to draw real-life things and mix them with my imagination." She showed him what she had been drawing, which was the night sky with orange and red flashes coming from below. He pointed to the flashes.

"What are these?"

"Gunfire from a battle below, set back in the time of the Civil War. I'd like to say it's one of the battles of the war, but I don't know which one I should set this to."

"It's fine, but if you added a few cannonballs in your picture, like one or two, I think it might look more realistic." she scribbled the suggestion on the side.

"Thanks. This is just a drawing so I can use it to set the real picture, which I'm going to paint. The flashes are also of dragons using their fire. Some dragons side with the North while others side with the South on differences only they have." Marc seemed surprised.

"Wow. You have quite an imagination."

"Thanks." she blushed a bit more, "Some of my friends say that I should write stories about my pictures and a few people laugh at me for what I do." He was even more surprised at this.

"What? Who would laugh at what you like? I like what you're doing and it's great. Whoever laughs at this or you just doesn't see the same things I do." he said, "Besides, I'm not the best drawer in my family and I can see that this is a great picture. By the way, you might want to add some flames from the dragons to make it even better." She jotted it down underneath the cannonball idea and smiled.

"I've never had support like that from anyone before. I can already tell that you're special, Marc." he blushed.

"T-thanks. I... need to get going so that the others don't get mad." he got up, but she grabbed his arm for a second.

"If you can, let's meet out here again tomorrow." he nodded, then left. She watched him leave, then got up to go home herself.

#######

Marc struggled to get up, but once he did, he was met with the sight of Zooma holding his sibs and Raven by the back of their spy suits over the chemical vat.

"You want them to end up the same way you did? I'd be happy to do it if you don't obey me." Zooma said.

"Don't, Marc!" Lee cried out.

"Don't listen to him! We know you can beat him!" Tony said. The girls nodded and Marc looked straight at Zooma.

"Never." The creature narrowed his eyes.

"You really want that? I'd do it anyway!" He then dropped them. Marc sprung forward and grabbed them, saving them, and landed safely on the other side before placing them on the ground. He then gave Zooma a death glare, his eyes instantly switching to one of the deepest shades of blood red anyone knew.

"NO ONE. HURTS. MY SIBLINGS. OR. MY. GIRLFRIEND!" he roared before tackling the creature. They knocked over the vat, splashing the chemicals all over, but neither noticed. Marc was in a uncontrollable rage, pounding Zooma fiercely and clawing him within an inch of his life. He didn't let up, and the four kids/teens were frozen with fright at the one-sided fight. Zooma could barely protect himself. After a while, Marc soon came to a slow stop, his rage finally vented out; all of his anger from when the entire thing began, and the harm Zooma was planning for his siblings and Raven, went into that single fight. Marc's eyes slowly switched back to their normal color and he panted while getting off Zooma, staring down at him with a steely gaze. The creature was pretty beaten up, but he still managed a smile.

"Did you really think I would let you go this easily?" he managed out with a few wheezes. Marc growled, claws extended, but listened.

"Before you beat me up, I activated a bomb that would go off in five minutes, tearing this entire place and the Mt. Everest lab down once and for all. It's already been four minutes; you won't make it out in time!" he said. Marc's eyes widened, and he looked to the others. Their eyes were also wide and he knew what he had to do. "Go." he said simply. They looked like they were going to retort, but he cut them off.

"I'm going to make sure Zooma never comes out of this alive, because I don't want anyone else having to go down the same road I have these last few weeks." he said. They looked like they were frozen, but Megan and Lee nodded and led the other two away, all with tears in their eyes. After they were out of sight, Marc looked down at the creature.

"You're lucky I'm not the murderous type, otherwise you would have been dead before now." Marc growled.

"Heh. I have no regrets about what I've done. I only wanted Aubrie to be happy." Zooma said with a small, sincere smile, "I may have changed and gone crazy trying to do so, but I had good intentions. I was doing this for the only human I ever cared for. I guess you could say I'm her best friend, like the saying you humans use to describe dogs. Everything I did was for her, and I'm not afraid to face death when I know that I'm defeated and that I've done everything I could for her." This touched Marc deeply.

"You may have been evil, but I can see that you truly care for Aubrie. You are one of the most courageous animals I've ever met."

"And you're one of the most protective and smartest. When we both die, I know that we'll be able to keep an eye on the ones we love." Marc stuck out his paw.

"It was a pleasure seeing your softer side before I died, Zooma. That tells me you aren't completely evil, you just took the wrong path. Everyone does from time to time, but we make up for that by trying to fix what we did wrong. You'll get another chance, someday or sometime." Zooma started at his paw.

"It was a pleasure meeting and fighting you, Marc Clark, the most protective and smartest WOOHP spy I have ever met." Just as they shook paws, the bomb exploded.

Ren: For that last part, I've gotta say that deserves a WHOA.

Dracmon: You said it!

Owen: Uh, was that Zooma guy related to-

Marc: NO RELATION. And yes, that did happen and we nearly DIED.

Ruby: Is it just me, or do you seem a bit... touchy, on this subject?

Tony: He misses Raven.

Chomp: Let's just get back to the stories now. ...I think we finished already.

Me: YES! And, happy birthday to me!

Everyone: *not as enthusiastic* Yay. Me: *ignores* Anyway, have a happy day, readers, and I hope I have a great B-Day as well!
