Sam stripped off his shirt and shook it, annoyed at all the dust flying from it. They'd found the bones and salted and burned them, but crawling around that abandoned house had left him a dirt-streaked mess.
He shucked his jeans and underwear, jumped in the shower and sighed as the water cascaded down his nude form…
His eyes shut, he was unaware of the door opening…
Didn't see the hand reaching into the room…
And ended up yelping in a rather un-hunterlike screech when the toilet flushed, the water changing from warmish to scalding for a moment.
