Evelyn

Evelyn

An unseen candle blows,

It flickers from her woes,

A land lost under the sands of time,

Her sand, doth never seen by thine.

Until the key was brought to her,

Under circumstance of its worth,

The bearer of a lovely kind,

And unto now one is not refined.

The flame unto her candle sparks,

A mirth that is never far still barks,

Beckoning to be let out,

To explore the one beheld to though.

She tries her chance to be with him,

Little does she know, that she will win,

Her heart, his heart mingle as a pair,

They trust themselves and are unaware.

Their love is now as one can hope,

Forever together like the ties of a rope,

To thee the candle glows warmer now,

Her thoughts of him are of a wow.

She loves him to the bitter end,

Any wounds, in time, will mend,

Two lovers stroll without a care,

Their candles both glowing, in the desert air.
