A Damsay Drabble
A/N: This happened when the glee project was down to final four - Samuel, Alex, Lindsay and Damian. Enjoy!
It was 12 in the morning, Alex and Samuel had long gone into sweet dream heaven, but not Lindsay and Damian. They just couldn't shut their eyes and stopped their brain from thinking, even though they were really tried. After a lot of flipping and tossing and praying, they know it wasn't gonna work. Eventually Damian went to the rec room, turned on the music player and play "PayPhone" by Maroon 5 but at very low volume so he wouldn't wake the others up. Music was always the best to listen when he was lonely, and he really liked this new song. Little did he know some one was approaching him.
"Can't sleep?" Lindsay asked.
"You too?", Damian turned around and saw that beautiful and pale face of hers. A lot people said that Lindsay talked too much, but how could they judge her without really knowing her? Sure she talked A LOT, but she was a nice and caring person deep down.
"Yeah," Lindsay sighed as he sit next to Damian. She always found his eyebrows cute and his accent was so dang sexy. Looking at that cute face made her melted every time.
"You say it's too late to make it, but is it too late to try?"
"I love this song, I dunno why but somehow I feel connected to the lyrics," Damian said.
"If happy ever after still exist, I'll still be holding you like this."
"All those fairy tales are full of shit, one more fucking love song and I'll be sick."
"Is your break up with that girl back in Ireland, right?"
"No, it's about a special girl here ."
They looked at each other in the eyes, but then they both turned away.
" It never going to happen. We are in a competition remember!" Damian thought to himself.
"I dunno know if I can do this…" Lindsay thought.
"I guess I don't believe in fairy tales. No love can be that easy and magical. It's gonna be hard. And sometimes I am just so annoyed by those love songs about perfect love. It's unreal…" Damian confessed.
Lindsay thought for a moment. It is Now Or Never !
"You know… we could make it happen…If we don't try, ..we never know."
Damian took the hint. He started to leaned in and their lips touched. Wow ! There was definitely sparks fly. Damian couldn't believe it, the kiss was soft, warm and magical, that kind of feeling was…unreal. Damian couldn't help but slightly hold Lindsay's face and Lindsay put her arms around his neck.
When they finally separated, they smiled at each other.
"I'm at a payphone trying to call home."
"It felt like home, sweet and warm," Lindsay thought.
They sit there for a while replaying the song. After that,
"Since we both can't sleep, why don't we sleep together?" Damian suggested.
"Okay, but let's go to my bed so Samuel and Alex will not wake up seeing us." Lindsay laughed.
Damian put his arm around around Lindsay and she buried her head into his chest. And this time they fell asleep to each other sweet dreams.
