Ben stood, Audrey on his left, waiting, as the limo carrying the first four aisle kids, pulled into the square. The door opened, and out stepped a short boy with dual-colored hair

"Is anyone here a doctor?" The question caught Ben off guard. He watched as the boy helped a taller boy pull a small purple-haired figure out of the car. " Our friend didn't react well to the sudden influx of magic." As the two propped up the figure, who was revealed to be a girl. Another girl with royal blue hair stepped out, and pulled a knife from her boot.

"She's gonna kill me for this, but it has to be done." She took the knife, and began carving at the leather jacket on her friends back. When she finished, he saw the girls shirt was split, where two raven-colored wings sprouted between her shoulder blades.

"I knew that her magic would react, but not like this." The shorter boy murmured to the other two.

"At least she's not a slave." The taller muttered, rubbing at a pair of golden slave cuffs around his wrists.

"Enough, both of you. Now, I'll ask again, is anyone here a doctor. She's gonna bleed out at this rate." The blue-haired girl turned to face him, and his breath caught. She was stunning. Fairy godmother broke him from his trance.

"Bring her this way, quickly." She set off at an impressive pace for the medical wing.

Mal awoke in the whitest room she'd ever seen, Evie sitting beside her.

"Hey. What the hell happened?" Her voice was soft and hoarse from screaming.

"Mal! You're up! Oh thank darkness! Your mom was right. We hit the barrier and you, darkness this is weird, you sprouted wings, Mal! Wings! Jay is suddenly half djinn, I'm a succubus, and Carlos is some nature spirit or something! These Auradon people won't stop trying to break in to stare at us or something, and we've only been in here two hours!" Evie's tone grew higher as she spoke, working herself into a fervor.

"Evie, calm the heck down. We need to go over this one step at a time, 'kay?"

"Right, right. So, our natural magics kicked in not long after. I went up a cup size, Carlos didn't physically change at all, and Jay's lamp materialized. Right now, he's bound to Carlos, for safety's sake. The boys are off talking to Prince Ben. The doctor wrapped your back best they could. Really Mal, they're beautiful. You have to let me have some of your feathers when you molt." Mal twisted, trying to see her wings. They were large, with a wingspan of maybe ten feet tip to tip. The feathers were a deep raven color, like her father's before her.

"Excuse me, Miss Queen? Ah, Miss Fae! You're awake!" The voice was Fairy Godmother's, coming from the doorway. "If you could both come with me, we need to talk." Mal, with Evies help, struggled to her feet.

"Let's go, Evie."
